Chapter Twenty-Four

Aurora.

The time had come.

She stood outside the door of the great hall, where all the guests were packed in at the moment, waiting for her to walk in through those doors and get married to their crowned prince.

"How long do you think we have left?" She asked Irene who stood at her side, helping her calm down, fully knowing how nervous her friend was.

"Not much to be honest, you'll be called in anytime soon," Irene responded, and she nodded and sighed. As much as she had promised herself she would get herself together when the time came, she wasn't sure she'd be able to.

The unease she had been feeling had been yet to let loose of her. She still felt sick to her stomach and as nervous as hell.

"There's nothing we can do now," Aurora said with a sigh. If she had realized how bad of a mistake it all suddenly seemed, she might have come up with a different idea, but she hadn't, and now she had no idea what to do.
