Eyes of divinity

The crimson ball of energy, a pulsating heart of destruction, detonated with cataclysmic force, its shockwave rattling the academy to its core.

Students from different classes were jolted from slumber, their hearts pounding in their chests as a deafening roar filled their ears. Panic-stricken cries erupted as the once-solid building shuddered and groaned, threatening to collapse. Dust and debris rained down from the cracked ceiling, casting an eerie glow in the dim emergency lights.

Isaac's voice cut through the chaos like a sharp blade. "Everyone, calm down. This academy is reinforced with construction magic," he commanded, his tone firm and authoritative. A flicker of concern crossed his face as he assessed the damage, but it was quickly replaced by determination. "Is this Arthur's doing, or perhaps the king?" he questioned, his voice laced with suspicion.

Bella, the stern upper-class teacher, nodded grimly. "The attack originated from the training hall, sir," she confirmed. Isaac's eyes narrowed. It was time to act.

"Inform the masters immediately!" Isaac ordered, his voice echoing through the chaos. A glowing white line coursed through his veins as he sprinted towards the training hall, his footsteps pounding against the trembling floor.

Where Aiden had been standing, a gaping hole now yawned open. But he was nowhere to be found.

The girl with the dark aura turned to leave the training hall, convinced that Aiden and Daniel had perished in the explosion. However, she halted abruptly as her gaze fell upon Aiden, who cradled the injured Daniel in his arms.

Before the crimson orb could engulf them, Aiden's eyes glowed with an eerie, luminous blue. Three blue, luminous lines appeared at the corners of his eyes as he seized Daniel by the collar, pulling them both away from the impending catastrophe.

The girl roared in fury, sending shockwaves through the training hall. Aiden quickly lowered Daniel to the ground, his eyes still glowing blue. She charged at him with incredible speed, and he met her attack head-on. Their fists collided with a deafening crash, causing more damage to the already ruined hall.

The dark aura around the girl twisted and morphed, forming two more shadowy tentacles. With a menacing hiss, she launched the trio of appendages at Aiden. The boy, however, was quick on his feet. Dodging the incoming attack with ease, he prepared to counter.

With a swift and powerful movement, Aiden unleashed an uppercut, striking the girl with enough force to send her flying backward into the wall. Her body seemed to recover from the blow almost instantly, surprising Aiden. With a determined growl, she dug her tentacles into the ground. Suddenly, they shot out from beneath the floor, aiming for Aiden. The boy, however, was ready. He dodged the surprise attack with impressive agility, causing the girl to become even angrier.

Aiden planted his fist against the wall and with incredible strength, propelled himself upward. In a blur of motion, he was at the top, ready to pounce. He dashed towards the girl, intent on ending the fight. With a swift, unexpected move, she appeared directly behind Aiden and slammed him hard to the ground. The impact sent shockwaves through his body, but he refused to yield. Ignoring the pain, he pushed himself back to his feet, his determination burning brighter than ever.

Aiden's eyes widened in shock as he realized what he had just done. "Did I just do that?" he muttered to himself, a mix of surprise and excitement bubbling within him.

The dark-haired girl, sensing an opportunity, lunged forward, her fist aimed squarely at Aiden's face. But Aiden was faster. With a quick movement, he dodged her attack and countered with a powerful punch to her stomach. "Too slow," he smirked.

Aiden grabbed her wrists and with a swift movement, headbutted her, sending her crashing to the ground with enough force to create even more craters in the already damaged training hall. Not satisfied, he followed up with a powerful slam of her face against the wall. Her body began to heal, but the damage was so severe, it struggled to keep up.

The training hall remained in ruins, the damage too extensive for the academy's magic to repair immediately.

Aiden swung another punch, but the girl caught his hand with surprising strength. Realizing the danger, he struggled to break free, but his left arm felt like lead. With a blood-curdling roar, she unleashed a powerful punch, sending Aiden flying across the room. Her body had fully recovered, and the dark aura around her had intensified, now forming five menacing tentacles. Her eyes glowed an ominous red as her muscles bulged with unnatural strength.

Before Aiden could even regain his footing, the tentacles lunged towards his neck. Just as it seemed he was doomed, a strong hand intercepted the attack, surprising the dark-haired girl.

Isaac burst onto the scene just in time, his hand outstretched to block the attack. White lines of energy pulsed along his fingers.

Isaac glanced at Aiden before turning his attention to Daniel. The extent of Daniel's injuries was shocking. He hadn't expected someone like Daniel to be hurt so badly. Yet, Aiden was still alive. This was a surprise. He's been hiding his abilities, Isaac realized.

Unknown to him, Aiden had only just awakened his powers. James looked at the black-haired girl, his eyes widening in shock.

"Lyra?" Isaac said, his voice filled with disbelief.

The black-haired girl, Lyra, stared at him blankly. Her mind recognized him, but her body seemed to be acting on its own. She dropped to all fours, ready to pounce.

Isaac's eyes narrowed as he observed the changes in her. A realization dawned on him.

"A divine technique," he muttered.

"A what?" Aiden asked, his attention still fixed on Lyra.

"At a young age too," Isaac added, his voice filled with concern.

Aiden was still puzzled. "Wait, I don't get it. What's a divine technique?"

Isaac turned to face Aiden, about to explain when Lyra, still in a frenzy, charged towards them at an incredible speed. Aiden barely had time to react as Isaac swiftly dodged her attack. With a flick of his finger, he sent her flying backward, crashing into the wall and knocking her unconscious.
