Creative Juices
Monday morning
Alynah hotly dressed in a black knee-length pleated skirt and white lacy long sleeved shirt, she packed her hair in a side ponytail, some parts covering here forehead. She applied a casual makeup and wore a black Lita boots.
"How do I look?" She asked, scrutinizing herself in front of the mirror.
"Like a real office girl" Betty replied.
"Thanks girl" Alynah beamed.
"Mummy!!" Tulip ran in, cutely dressed in her uniform.
"Oh baby" Alynah pecked her cheeks, stroking her hair softly. "You look cute" she complimented.
"Ain't I beautiful today" Tulip pouted
"No I mean, you're always beautiful. You look cute and beautiful today" Alynah cooed with a smile and Tulip giggled.
"C'mon let's go"
"I'll be the one to pick Tulip up from school right?" Betty asked and Alynah nodded.
"Whyyy?" Tulip whined.
"I'll be busy today. I'm going to work, baby" Alynah stated and Tulip smiled.
"Yay, my mummy is going to office!" She exclaimed and they all laughed.
Alynah dropped Tulip at school then boarded a cab to the organization.

Alynah walked through the rotating glass door leading to the busy reception. She went straight to the counter where Nicholas smiled professionally at her.
"Good morning, Miss Grayling. Welcome to your first day to move the unmovable" Nicholas beamed.
Alynah smiled. "Thank you"
"Come with me, Miss Grayling" Nicholas said and they left. They walked through the busy hallway, took the large stairs and then to the elevator.
They arrived at the 11th floor and Nicholas showed her the conference room. "Good luck, Miss Grayling"
Alynah opened the door and walked in, she was welcomed by a warm smile from Ralph, the Design Manager and the other team members. There are also few interns.
"Welcome Miss Grayling" he beamed and gestured her to come forward which she did.
"We're glad to have you here. We'll show you around and then set up your workstation for you" Ralph said and Alynah smiled.
"But before that, the boss wants to see you" Emily, another team member stated.
"Follow me" she said and they left the conference room. They took the elevator and went to the 64th floor, which is the last floor.
"Get in, the boss is waiting" Emily gestured. Alynah heaved a deep breath and walked in.
There he was, backing her, staring at the aesthetical view of Texas City. Alynah stood there admiring his perfect back view until he turned. She quickly lowered her head.
"Good morning sir" she tried so hard not to shake or freak out.
"Uhmm" he answered in a low tone.
"Miss Grayling?" He asked and she slowly nodded. "Yes sir"
"You're welcome to Golden Sparrow Graphics. I hope you get along with your team members and learn from them. I hope your creativity sparks in the world of design and I hope you'll be of good use to the company" she heard his deep voice.
Alynah smiled brightly.
"Thank you sir. I'm also thrilled to be here. I'll be honoured to share my creativity to the world and also create excellent designs. Golden Sparrow Graphics will always be at the top" she said, looking up.
Kayden smirked, amused by her enthusiasm.
"Glad to here that, you may begin your tour to creation" he beamed.
"Thank you sir" Alynah chuckled. She bowed one more time before walking out of the office.
Kayden stared blankly at the door, her enthusiasm and passion is booming and flowing, he could feel it. This particular intern will surely make a difference.
After that, Ralph and Emily showed her around the organization. Alynah's eyes widened as they entered the studio. The design creative space was set up, white boards with design inspirations covered the walls and computers surging with creative energies.
This is the vibe Alynah felt when she stepped a foot into the organization. The feeling of eagerness to create something new.
As they showed her to her new workstation, Alynah was extremely excited. The team members shared their roles and welcomed her. Alynah was grateful for the warm welcome.
Emily handed her a project brief and Alynah felt her juices starting to flow. She opened her brand new laptop and the GSG logo popped out, she nearly squealed.
"We meet again" Kylie spoke by her side.
"Woah Kylie! We're a team now?!" Alynah beamed.
"Yeah you're right beside me" Kylie winked.
"I hope I can learn from you" Alynah said with a genuine smile.
"I'll be glad to mentor you" Kylie replied.
"Hy miss new pretty bie" a guy spoke in front of her desk.
"Hi" Alynah said simply.
"I'm Brett" the guy with caramel skin colour and curly hair said.
"Oh I'm Alynah"
"Back to work Brett, quit flirting"
