On November 11, 1918, when the unconditional surrender agreement was handed over to the French Marshal, the Second Empire became history. When the Allies were sharpening their knives and planning to feast on the corpse of the Second Reich; When the Kingdom of Bavaria, Württemberg, and Saxony tried to split the empire; When all Germans are worried about the dark tomorrow. The German army in the Bastogne area fired the last shot of World War I!Standing on the front line strewn with corpses of French soldiers, looking at the enthusiastic eyes of thousands of soldiers behind him, Lin Yu vowed to rebuild the empire in this life and restore the honour of the empire with iron and blood! I really like the story but the translation is horrendous, what I hate though is that you keep calling us Eagle Sauce.
good read 👍 better than those thrash plots in some novels.
the translation need some correction. Also some of the names are funny and silly but I had a feeling, that what the Chinese name of said Western countries.
It’s a Chinese translation And the quality of the translation is really bad. No wait. It’s actually really good, other than the names of… everyone. America becomes Ying Giung, then it becomes eagles… wtf Germany is Hans and German people are also Hans France is Gaul But then randomly then names will return back to America, Germany and France every 20 odd times they appear, which makes it sooo confusing Then comes the story, which I feel is pretty nice actually. Is you can get over the names, it’s decent in fact pretty good. Problems arise with the characters and dialogue. Everything returns to Chinese ideology somehow. Everyone older than the mc thinks like a Chinese master, seeing that mc is neither humble or overconfident, they will ‘treat him highly’ is he can think for himself wtf! Conversations that should either be resolved with a gunshot or kidnapping in a not so public setting somehow turn into an irritating guy publically forcing mc to make promises( the promises were good and nothing bad, but it’s infuriating that the mc should have to do this when he could have solved everything in a more efficient way… idk, I guess that’s my personal preference)
