"Ahhh!!!"
Grabbing a weapon, the man who was with the group attacking Jack's team let out a loud roar, as if it were a declaration of war, and charged toward the red-eyed walkers that were right in front of him.
His name was Frank, and he was the leader of the men now facing all the walkers. For him and everyone else, it was a surprise that the group they had been attacking suddenly stopped when the walkers appeared.
The walkers were fast, easily surpassing any they had faced before, but considering their experience, very few were afraid.
Thud!
With the butt of his rifle, Frank knocked down a walker that had approached him to bite. But at that moment, another walker arrived at his side, and gripping his rifle tightly, Frank swung it from side to side, hitting the walker.
Frank, wielding his weapon, was like an unstoppable warrior, throwing every walker that approached him to the ground.
Although the other soldiers, following closely behind, were somewhat shocked by Frank's state, they quickly regained their senses. They knew that hitting the walkers like this wouldn't cause fatal damage, only delaying their attack, so they followed closely behind, using daggers and pistols to crush the heads of the walkers on the ground.
Bang, Bang, Bang!
Thud!
But just when they thought eliminating the walkers wouldn't be a big problem, a loud blow made the ground tremble. This dull thud that suddenly shook the place startled everyone, including the walkers.
Everyone stopped!
"Ahhhh!"
At that moment, as everyone analyzed what was happening before their eyes, a scream came from afar, and a human figure flew through the air and crashed into a car.
Frank, who had just crushed a walker's head fiercely, turned to see the figure that had impacted a few seconds ago, not far from his position.
When his eyes focused on the man, he realized the body was mangled, and every part of him was bleeding profusely. A broken neck, wounds on his abdomen with his intestines spilling out—wounds so clean that not even a walker could have done them.
"Oh my God!"
"I can't believe it!"
Frank, who wasn't far from the group, stared at two enormous walkers. Their deformed, massive bodies and the huge claws alongside their swollen forms were something he had never seen before.
Stunned and confused, he looked at the weapon in his hands that he had been using to kill walkers this whole time, thinking it wouldn't help him against those massive walkers. Like any other living being, he simply felt small and weak.
But then he remembered the situation he was in and knew it was all his fault. He glanced at the people hiding in the building, his enemies, and clenched his teeth in fury.
"Bastards!"
Just as he was about to order a retreat, he saw a figure continuously firing bursts at the walkers that had stopped a moment ago. The man's face was hidden under a gas mask, and every part of him was covered in advanced combat gear.
Bang, Bang, Bang!
As if his enemies didn't exist, the man kept firing at the enemies, and that's when everyone reacted, shooting simultaneously. In a matter of seconds, the situation shifted in a different direction.
All the humans abandoned their differences and faced a common enemy—the walkers.
"Attack those rotten monsters!"
Bang, Bang, Bang!
The bullets immediately echoed, resuming the sounds from all directions, but now there was no longer a confrontation between humans—just humans against the undead.
"Frank! Watch your back!" A shout pulled Frank out of his combat frenzy, and when he looked forward, he saw one of the special-class walkers begin to move.
The huge body of the first special-class walker wasn't slow at all. When bullets hit the body of that large infected, they caused no more than small losses.
"Everyone fall back!" Although Frank had ordered the attack, they were running low on bullets on their side as well, and his rifle needed reloading. He couldn't quickly take down all the walkers that had reached his side.
Roar!
Soon, the walkers that had been knocked to the ground stood up again. Although their numbers had significantly decreased, they didn't know fear, so even if their bodies were torn apart, they rose and ran toward the humans.
"Huh... huh..."
Staring at the walker charging wildly at him and then at the giant monster that had killed all his men, Frank panted heavily, one hand resting on a car. Without the slightest panic in his eyes, he dodged to the side just as a walker rushed at him, and then, with a knife, he prepared to eliminate his enemies.
"We'll take it down!"
Bang, Bang, Bang!
Immediately after, the giant walker rushed at the people approaching it and grabbed the head of an armed man with its massive arm.
Splat!
The armed man's head burst like a watermelon being squeezed, and the helmet that covered his head was completely crushed.
With the sound of the long knife falling to the ground, the arms of the armed man went limp, and there was no sound. He died in seconds.
Roar!
As soon as it finished with its prey, the giant walker threw the body aside and let out a roar, then continued forward. But at that moment, the roar of an engine could be heard in the distance.
