"This sure was a long day," Leo spoke, breathing a sigh of serious relief.
As nice as it was to finally meet with his counterpart of this reality, it surely put a toll on his mind to keep the conversation with one's own past self going.
Instead of just sharing the news, Leo had to calculate every last detail of a conversation and judge whether it wouldn't put too much strain on his old self's future.
'But if I was given such an opportunity, wouldn't I try to change the future for the better?'
There certainly was a massive advantage in knowing what would happen in the future, an advantage Leo was reluctant to give up on. And the more he interfered, the less likely the future he knew was to come.
The scale of his interference already massively changed the likely flow of history, but was it really a reason to only further deepen this rift?
