Even if he couldn't understand the first thing about the magic Leo, Leonidas and Mei invoked in tandem to make Flavius disappear, he was more than willing to believe Leo's word on just how troublesome of an opponent it would be. 

And that, in turn, only made it more pressing for the man to leave the area, especially when Leo dropped the bomb as big as when the three of them revealed a spell capable of… just wiping something out of existence.
