“Figures, why he came so soon on my call, and also why he said he has no rights to call Vonruil. Vonruil, do you know anything about this?” Xiander says it with a confused tone.
“I don’t know about any such thing. How was the order passed?” Vonruil is concerned about Sky.
“Vonruil, obviously, since Xania is... well, at that time she was, so an order with her royal seal will be enacted upon.” Zildor hesitates.
“With her royal seal?” Vonruil says, “So, if she sends a scroll saying she’s going to be the queen, you all will enact it.”
“Vonruil, that’s not what we meant.” Zildor says it in a lost tone.
“Actually, after you left, Sky was an abandoned angel, so obviously if an order came for him from Xania, it’s.” Zildor is not able to complete his sentence.
“When did her and my words become one? It’s a political marriage, and when did I officially declare Sky is left?” Still irritated, Vonruil says, “How is he? Has he recovered?”
“No, he hasn’t. His heart condition is getting worse as well.” Zenith says, looking down.
“Vonruil, why don’t you go? In the meantime, the boys can get acquainted with them.” Xiander suggests.
Agreeing, Vonruil gets up, goes to the terrace, and calls Sky. Within minutes, Sky arrives. At first, Sky was going to run over, but recalling the order, he stopped.
Coming over, Vonruil says, “Since when did you begin to hesitate with me?”
“Vonruil, I can’t say how happy I am to see you safe, as for my hesitation. I’m now.” Vonruil doesn’t let him finish.
He comes over, pulls Sky into his embrace, and says, “Sky, even if I lose my mind, even if I forget myself, I can never be separate from you. Sky, after fifteen years, even though in the beginning we were kids, we still have ten years together. Are you really giving up?”
"Vonruil, you know I would never let your pride down. It's a royal order to protect you at all costs. How can I oppose it? Sky says it in a sad tone. I'm only doing what I must."
"Sky, before following the order like a fool, you could have retaliated against me. You could have asked how I passed such an order without consulting you first." Vonruil says this as he gets angry.
Sky knew he could never retaliate against Vonruil and said, "I must follow your orders without question. That's my duty as your partner."
"Your duty is also to stay with me forever as my loyal companion," Vonruil replied sternly.
"Ain't I doing my duty, following your order?" Sky says it in a frank tone.
"OK, in that case, from now on, unless I say it face-to-face, you are not to leave my side for any reason," Vonruil declared firmly.
Smiling, Sky says, "OK, anyway, I can never go against you."
"They told me you're still recuperating. How are you doing ?" Vonruil asks in a concerned tone.
"Isn't it evident that I'm training the boys right now? Actually, it took me a few seconds to believe you actually called me. I thought you forgot me."
"Sky, can you stop saying such baseless things? You know I would never forget about you." Vonruil says it with a sad face.
"OK, I won't, so when are you coming back?" Sky asks anxiously.
"Well, at first I planned on keeping a low profile, but now Zenith and Zildor also know, so I'll send an official scroll to let all realms know I'm back," concerned Vonruil says. "But, Sky, promise me, you won't go against your body's ability. From now on, Selgar will train the boys."
"Vonruil, I'm fine."
Vonruil doesn't let him complete his sentence and says, "You will be when I say so." Vonruil connects with Selgar and calls him to come to the Nomid portal.
Selgar arrives within seconds. Seeing him, Vonruil says, "What did you do? Put a booster."
Selgar hugs Vonruil and says, "You're safe. I was so worried about you. If you're here, then why not come back home?"
"I asked the same thing, and he still hasn't answered." Sky says it in a frank tone.
"Guys, actually, a lot has happened since the war. And, ever since Rival banished me,"
Selgar didn't let Vonruil continue and said, "Who gave him the nerve to offend the duke of Artmitis?"
"Don't forget those allied fools were with him. Without their help, he could have never achieved what he did." Vonruil says it in a frank tone.
"If so, then you know very well. Your order is our command. You are the dule of Artmitis. Though there are some of us who have begun to wonder if you are even alive, the gods also sent an order to choose a new duke, but the king retaliated." Selgar says it in a determined tone.
"Humph, even after taking my powers, they had to fall so low." It's evident in Vonruil's voice that he's not surprised at all.
"Well, in that case, I don't need to give them a soft side. OK, Selgar, can you train the boys and remind them they have to be ready for a war?"
"Vonruil, even though we all couldn't go against the royal scroll order, but me and Zen, we exchange places in training the boys, as Sky still has to recuperate." Selgar says, "But, now that you're back, we won't let him train them. He can rest now."
"Vonruil, you still didn't tell me when you're coming back, and why are you here on earth?" Sky asks anxiously.
"Sky, it's a long story, but now coming back and taking my revenge on Rival isn't the only thing that matters." Vonruil says, "The allies have destroyed the families of the innocent. The boys I live with here have all lost their families because of their allies. Now, they are my family.
I swore to avenge them as well. So, the upcoming war is not only between me and Rival; it is going to be a war between good and evil, with evil getting on their knees and never getting up."
"Even so, I still don't know why you are adamant about staying here. What are you hoping to accomplish by remaining in this dangerous situation?" Selgar says, "You're alone here; please come back home."
"Guys, Xiander, and Xane are here with me, and you all are with me as well." Vonruil says, "So how can I be alone?"
"Plus, the boys were almost killed because they told me they knew me. We need to stick together and stay safe." Vonruil says, "For now, Selgar, you go on; the boys must be worried about what's happened. And you follow me." As Selgar leaves, Sky follows Vonruil quietly.
As they come down and see Sky, Zildor says, "Sky, if you're here, then."
"Vonruil sent Selgar to train them and told me to follow." Sky says it in an irritated tone.
"Thank God I don't have any partners. I'm as free as one can be." Zildor says it with a proud tone.
Seeing Sky, Peter comes over, touching Sky's face, and says, "Wow, brother, no offense, but he's the most beautiful angel I ever saw—well, from the ones whom I have seen."
Realizing Xiander and Xane might be offended, Peter says, "Oh, you both are (remembering Zildor, Selgar, and Zenith are there also), and you too."
As the boys smile to themselves, Selgar says, "You don't have to worry. Vonruil is the most beautiful angel ever, so for him to be his partner, he has to be one in a million."
"Partner, really, then you're our brother-in-law!" Peter says it in a happy tone.
Confused Sky says, "Ah, sorry, but what am I?
"Oh, Vonruil is our brother, so his partner will be our brother-in-law." Peter says he is explaining.
Smiling Sky says, "If you say so, then fine."
"Our's as well. Vonruil is our brother as well. By the way, I'm Morris, and he's Sam."
"Hey, Zildor, did I ask? Heck with it. Can a human and an angel be partners?" Xane asks anxiously, "Huh, can they be, huh, huh, can they?"
"Woh, calm down. I don't think there should be any problem. Though in history, we don't have such couples; if there are, we will accept the human, but why are you asking?" Zildar asks in a curious tone.
"Oh, since he met Sam, he's been pestering him to become Xiander's partner." Vonruil says it in a frank tone.
"Sam, if you like Xiander and vice versa, we have no objection. And, with Vonruil by your side, no one will oppose."
Zenith intervenes and says, "But we don't know if you can survive on Artmitis; it's in the universe after all."
"I don't think that should be a problem; if we are surviving here, then it should be the same." Vonruil says, making his point, "At least on Artmits, not the universe as in the universe."
"Don't worry, I'll find a way to deal with that as well." Zildor says it in a determined tone.
Then Peter says, "So, I can make dinner for all of us; you guys won't disappear, will you?"
Smiling, Zildor says, "No, we want, and now we'll keep coming back."
"Great!. Twenty minutes, and food will be ready." Peter is excited.
As the boys and angels sit down, Zildor says, "Vonruil, though I know you won't do anything that's risky, is it safe here? I mean, they are humans."
"I agree with Zildor," Zenith says. "Vonruil, they are humans; what if someone attacks?"
"Sam is training me; I've already progressed to the second level." Xane says proudly.
Zenith, Zildor, and Selgar say in unison, "What?"
"Sam is a Judan master. He's on level ten in martial arts, and his natural elements are also awakened. He can use his fire fists as well." Taking a sigh, Xiander says, "That's why he's training Xane now. I'm just resting."
"What, a Judan in humans? Is that possible?" Selgar is confused.
"Ah, being a Judah is not a big thing. Yes, it's years of practice and dedication to the art. I began as a child, plus my grandfather was a Judan himself." Sam justifies his point.
"Sam, I don't think it's as simple as you say. No doubt, it might not be hard for humans to reach this level, but I'm certain it has to do with your family lineage." Zenith says it in a frank tone.
"Well, if you mean by the history of my family, then yes, my bloodline goes back a hundred years, but that's as far as I know. I only met my grandfather, and he said I should not bother about his lineage."
"Sam, Vonruil could have met any other human, and I'm sure till now he must have met others as well. But, why you three?" Zildor says in a frank tone, "Obviously, you are destined to meet him. Training Xane is not possible for any of us. But, with you, he's already accelerated to the second level, and it's only been a few days."
"Ah, I really don't know about this. And, now that my parents are dead, I don't have any way to find out." Sam says it in a sad tone.
For the first time, Xiander felt sad in his heart for Sam; that's when he realized that his heart had feelings for Sam. Seeing Sam is vulnerable, Xiander places his hand on Sam's hand and says, "Sam, don't worry about that. We have chronicles back home. Zildor, can you look into it?"
"Sure, leave it to me, and I think you should clear the matter as well." Zildor says it in a concerned tone.
"What matter?" Peter asks as he brings a bowl over to the table, "Hey, Morris, help me with the food." Morris looks up from his book and says, "Sure thing, what needs to be done? Sam, come on."
Getting up, Zenith says, "Sam, take a seat." He makes Sam sit beside Xiander and says, "Let me help you guys."
"Vonruil, is this possible? I mean, really, can we live like this, ever?" Zildor says it in a desperate tone.
