Chapter 15 - investigation
In Shanghai
Ouyang private hospital
Meixue just knock off from work.
Junshan went over to Meixue intern area.
Few students saw him walking over to the cancer department where Meixue is intern in.
Meixue is packing up in the pantry area.
Junshan walks in...
"Are you ready to leave? It's not good for a pregnant woman to work overtime everyday." Junshan asked.
"Oh, Director ouyang! I am leaving soon. You don't need to pick me up everyday from work. People will gossip about you." Meixue replied.
"It's fine. Your fiancé is working in Hong Kong and he cannot fetch you. It's my duty to fetch you since you're having a baby." Junshan said.
"Anyway, what is your fiancé working as in Hong Kong? Why is he so busy that he cannot come back to look after you?" Junshan asked.
"He is working as an advertising producer." Meixue replied.
After fetching Meixue back home, Junshan went home and search the internet for the name of "Guo Junxi".
He saw a headline from a Hong Kong tabloid magazine, written, "Guo Junxiong committed suicide by jumping down and his son, Guo junxi work as a male prostitute to pay off his father debts".
"Is this just happen to be the same name as Meixue's fiancé or is it the same person?" Junshan asked himself.
Junshan call up his assistant, Michael...
"Yes Mr ouyang, what can I do for you?" Michael asked.
"Help me to check on a guy name, Guo junxi in Hong Kong. He is Guo junxiong's son. Previously at 15 diagnosed with leukaemia, 18 went to Shanghai with Lin meixue to study Uni." Junshan replied.
"Yes, will do. I will update you in a months time." Michael said.
Back in Hong Kong.
Two days later.
Hk central hospital
The doctor came in to junxi ward.
"Hi, Youming. There is something to talk to you about your friend. Is there any close relative he have now?" Doctor koo asked.
"No, he doesn't have relative in Hong Kong. His step mother went missing and his fiancée is in Shanghai." Youming replied.
Junxi kept talking to himself and smiling.
"I guess this is not the right time to speak to the patient himself of his condition." Doctor Koo said.
"You can speak to me or Leon, we are his closest friend in Hong Kong." Youming replied.
"Then the both of you please come to my office now." Doctor Koo said.
In doctor koo office.
"Actually it's better that his close relatives know about his condition. But since no one is in Hong Kong, then I have to let you know. He is having a serious depression. Someone must be there with him. If not this will happen again. And please don't let him take "ice" again. It will worsen his depression." Doctor Koo said.
"Any other problems with him? I saw his blood seems to be abnormal. I have stopped his blood from flowing but within less than 10 mins it bleed again." Leon asked.
"Leon what did you say?!" Youming asked anxiously.
"As I asked for his medical report in the previous hospital he stayed before, he have leukaemia when he was 18. Now he is 21. Hopefully it's not a relapse. But it could be due to other things. We will do a medical checkup for him." Doctor Koo replied.
In the ward.
Junxi just woke up. He saw his left wrist wrapped up. Youming and Leon just open the door and saw junxi woke up…..
"How are you, junxi?" Leon asked.
Junxi never reply. He just shakes his head.
"Junxi, don't think so much. If you doesn't like to serve women then I will arrange you to serve men only. Don't push yourself too hard." Leon said.
"Thank..thanks. But I feel very giddy these two days. Is there anything wrong with me?" Junxi asked.
Leon kept quiet.
"What's wrong?! Is there anything wrong with me?!" Junxi asked anxiously.
"Don't worry nothing serious. Doctor Koo will do a full body checkup for you tomorrow." Youming replied.
The next day in hospital.
The doctor and nurses came to junxi room at 9am.
"Mr Guo, we will do a few blood tests and a bone stem tissue extract test in the late afternoon." Doctor Koo said.
"What?! What test?! Why must I do bone stem extract?! I didn't agree to do!" Junxi shouted and asked.
"But youming and Leon have agreed and youming signed the agreement form on your behalf." Doctor Koo replied.
"I..I never asked them to sign any agreement!" Junxi shouting and throwing things.
The male nurses came in and hold onto junxi both arms.
"I don't want to go back to that place again! Please!!!Please!!! I beg all of you!" Junxi cried loudly and try shaking off the nurses.
His both arms bleed badly and his left wrist start to bleed again.
"Tied him up and sent him to the emergency room." Doctor Koo said.
Leon just came in...
"What the hell are all of you doing to him!? Why do you tied him up?!" Leon asked anxiously.
"He doesn't wants to do the tests. He have to do all the tests. Just in case his leukaemia relapse again." Doctor Koo replied.
"No! I do not have leukaemia! Doctor Kenneth said I am fully recovered when I was 18! " junxi shouted.
"Doctor Kenneth is your family doctor?" Doctor Koo asked.
Junxi nodded his head.
"We temporarily stop all the tests. I will speak to Kenneth directly." Doctor Koo replied.
Suddenly, junxi grabs the Doctor legs and kowtow to him. He hits his head on the floor till it starts to bleed…..
"Mr Guo, why are you doing this?!" Doctor Koo asked anxiously.
"Please!!! Please!!!! Don't let Kenneth know what I am doing now!? Please!!! I beg you!" Junxi replied kowtowing and crying.
"What's wrong with him? Why is he so scared of letting Doctor Kenneth know?" Doctor Koo asked.
"Doctor, let's go out with Youming to have a word." Leon replied.
At the hospital top floor.
"What's wrong with junxi? Why can't I check with Doctor Kenneth on his previous condition?" Doctor Koo asked.
"Junxi is under Lao Wang custody now. He is also working for him as a male prostitute. If let Doctor Kenneth know his whereabouts, he will inform his friends as Kenneth's nephew is his close friend. Do you want Junxi to die again?" Youming asked.
"What!? He is a male prostitute?!" Doctor Koo asked shockingly.
"Junxi's parents owned Lao Wang lots of money that's why now he is under him." Youming replied.
In the ward.
Junxi looking at the window and crying.
