“How dare that girl, Gillian defy me so openly after I’ve told her that I don’t agree with Milla’s desire to make movies?” Myrtle asked herself as she sat in front of the mirror in the hair salon.
“And then Rose encourages Mishka to carry on with her strange dreams and aspirations as well. They shouldn’t test me,” Myrtle continued with her eyes narrowed fiercely.
“So, you’re going to look a few years younger now with all the grey covered,” Julie, the hairdresser commented.
“I just want to feel like my old self again, just for this particular occasion,” Myrtle responded, turning her head from side to side to admire the colour.
“So, it’s not going to be long-term then?” Julie asked as she fingered Myrtle’s hair to see if all the grey was covered.
“No, I’m not going to keep it up, but if I have a similar occasion some time again soon, I will be back here,” Myrtle promised with a smile.
