Mishka woke up with a start. She was breathing heavily and gasping for breath.
“It’s still dark, so, what woke me?” she asked, rubbing her eyes. She looked around her half-lit bedroom trying to see what woke her up.
“It was that dream. It’s about something that happened. Oh, wait.
We were waiting to find out where Bruce went until it was so late that Joan and I had to go home. Is he in some kind of real trouble then?” Mishka asked herself in confusion.
Then just now, I saw him in a dream. In a house on a mountain. But, what is he doing there? Is he in danger? It felt really wrong,” she mumbled, trying to clear her mind.
“It felt like a nightmare, so, let me go and get myself some hot chocolate,” she told herself firmly.
Downstairs in the kitchen, Mishka’s mind began to clear up.
“Bruce went missing from the ball last night, that’s why I feel so strange.
