Dimensional Wound

The university's physics building loomed against the night sky, its windows glowing with unnatural intensity. From their position in the parking lot, Mishka could see the distinctive blue-white flicker of frequency discharge emanating from the third-floor laboratory.

"The readings are off the charts," Howard reported, studying the portable scanner. "She's generating frequency patterns at nearly twice the safe threshold."

Bruce stood beside the vehicle, his protective field already beginning to manifest in response to the chaotic energy patterns. "I can feel it from here—like standing too close to a lightning storm."

The two entity representatives who had accompanied them—introduced as Resonance and Harmony—moved with visible agitation, their forms flickering more rapidly than usual. "The frequency cascade has already begun," Resonance warned. "Small-scale, but growing exponentially."

"How long before it becomes irreversible?" Mishka asked.
