The First Mage

(I'm changing it from 200 years to 300 years so Shawn ended up paying 1,500 CP. As they are some parts of the story that are not explainable in that short period of time. Shawn currently has )

*Ding*Congratulations, you have completed the quest of choosing an overseer.*

*Evaluating overseer's qualities.... Processing CP*

*You have earned 1,800CP*

"That's great," said Shawn.

*Actually. based on assessment. The first overseer that you have chosen is only 67% worth the title by evaluation*

"What!!"Shawn shouted.

*By requirements, the overseer has a rare skin colour of the region, it is a user of both energies of the world and is at a high level for the world currently due to it's good level of energy usage*

*Also wolf is the first overseer which is the why you were given the huge amount of CP*

"But not an overpowered one. I see what you are trying to say system thanks" Shawn said.

"But now I want to see the history of the races for the last 300 years"

The watch panel instantly changed to show the screen of a movie opening. Shawn regretted that he hadn't brought popcorn to use to watch this.

*Ding* Does host need snacks. They are available*

Immediately, a box of popcorn appeared in his hand along with a couch.

*Deducting 50 CP*

"Hey. Why did you do that"

*It's not advisable to watch things like this with a bored look. As they are some interesting contents in this history*

"Next time can you inform me of how much it will cost before taking my points"

*Noted Sir*

"Why does it feel like i'm having a noisy system"

*Rude*

Without saying anything. Shawm sat on the couch to watch the movie that was being shown to him.

"This better be interesting he thought"

The Screen showed an overview of the world before zooming in to show the races.

The first race that was shown was the goldorn's.

In the north of the northern continent, around the desert of Zi there were mountain ranges.

These mountain ranges bordered the north eastern deserts.

These mountain ranges stretched from the north eastern to cover half of the northern north(Direction is north not the full north. This north does not include north east and north west) looking like a wall and confined to the region.

Beyond these mountain ranges to what they hid were the dry lands and some parts of the desert but as one moved on signs of flora and fauna were visible in the area before showing large grassland patches, growing and growing trees.

This was present because of the many rivers that had emerged from the mountains and the springs into the region making it moist and saturating it.

The goldorn's had been made to have 4 tribes at first but over the past 300 years they had expanded to 9 tribes.

In the Kento tribe, the goldorn's gathered together to wait for the birth of the first child of the tribal leader Kento Kalo. Kento Kalo was the founder of the tribe and had made his people migrate to this place.

The region they were in was close to a sea that was known to connect

Kalo had a wife who was giving birth to his first child. Everyone in the tribe waited outside the rectangular hut made from mud and palm fronds. This hut was the largest of the tribe's hut.

Then the hypourgoi came out of the hut and presented a small goldorn of 3,500 grams.

Kento Kalo looked at the child that was presented to him.

"It's a boy," the hypourgoi said.

"My son" said Kento Kalo as he took the child that had been wrapped with a long binding cloth.

Kento Kalo turned to the remaining tribesmen.

"Behold. My first child has been born. His name is Kento Kadan"

The remaining tribesmen looked at the child and bent their heads as a sign of acceptance and acknowledgement for this child.

This is the story of Kento Kadan, the first mage. Kadan was supposed to be a great leader of the Kento tribe. But rather than joining the hunters to hunt or the gatherers he would be by himself studying the environment and the creatures around it.

He could also be found experimenting with various objects or the environment which made people wonder if something was wrong with him. His father Kento Kadan had noticed this odd behavior and clearly did not support it.

His son was the next tribe leader and should own up to it. The goldorn race started with 300 members which was the same as the humans and the elves who started with 200 members.

The Goldorns started with 250 members.

From 300 members and three tribes they had expanded to 1,600 and had 9 tribes.

Kadan was always using his mana to carry out his experiment which to his father was called wastage.

"I really want to know how to use my mana better and more effectively," he said.

Then one day, he stumbled across a deer with a diamond shaped gem on its forehead while hunting. Shawn had made this new type of animal in the creatures tab when he was still picking the animals to place in his world.

Mana deer had a gem which was used for absorbing energy from the environment. This gem was useful when fighting predators as it gathered mana to use. But to find a mana deer was uncommon. The races had not yet encountered a mana deer for 300

Kadan stumbled across the deer and planned to kill it.

As he approached the deer, it turned to him and the gem on its forehead became brighter and brighter. Soon a ray of light shot out of the gem towards Kadan who managed to avoid the attack.

"That thing is quite powerful to shoot such flashy beams at me," said Kadan.

"The deer glared at Kadan before the gem on its head glowed even brighter and shot another beam at him which was dodged.

Kadan knowing that this was going to be a big problem for him took a deep breath and swirled mana around him to form a ball before throwing it. As if sensing his intentions, the deer pointed its two horns and the gem glowed before mana energy surrounded its horns.

Kadan understood that the deer was ready to pierce him. The mana ball that he threw only got absorbed by the deer's gem and disappeared as soon as it came.

The deer ran from its position towards Kadan pointing its horns at him.

Kadan took a spear that he had kept at his back the whole time and threw it towards the deer. The spear pierced through the head of the deer and it fell dead.

*Ding* Congratulations. You have killed a mana deer of level 19. Upgrading level*

*You are now in level 18*

Kadan went to the body of the dead deer.

"Hmmm. I'll take this deer home but first, I must find a way to take those antlers and that glowing thing on its forehead.

Kadan went to the deer and began to check the antlers and the gem on its forehead. "But first of all, how do I remove this thing from its forehead? '' he thought.

He looked for a sharp stick and proceeded to use it to remove the gem on the forehead.

After minutes of having great difficulty, he managed to remove the gem and checked it. The gem was a mana crystal. He also removed the two antlers of the mana deer which he would use for experiment's and carried the deer to the tribe where it will be consumed.

The tribe ate the deer not knowing that they were improving their levels of mana by doing so. After having the deer, Kadan went to a cave in the forest, where he began to experiment on what he had found.

Although his father had disapproved of his constant disappearance and laid back attitude towards the tribe he never made him stop his constant research or took away his discoveries.

He looked at the mana crystal that was on his palm. He looked at the antlers that he had in his possession. "From the battle that I had with the deer I concluded that there is a relationship between the antlers and the gem because the deer possesses the both of them"

He looked at the gem then the antler and wondered how he could connect the two together. Then he noticed that the diamond gem was smaller than the antler's size at the top.

He took a sharp stone and tried to make a hole through one of the antlers. He failed as the stone ended up cutting more than what he intended to cut through.

He tried again using the second antler and succeeded in almost making the exact size of the hole for the gem. After doing so, he placed the gem on the top of the antler to fit it and took some plants to use to tie it to the antler. This was needed for the m

ana used by the gem to be controlled using the antlers.

And that was how the first crude staff was made.
