They spoke at length for about an hour, discussing the powers of the sixth sense.
Carminda was all for the idea of going to Brazil.
“Oh what an inspirational idea!” she exclaimed.
“Why don’t we go together?”
“Oh my!” Jacqueline replied, quite taken by surprise. “Will you really do that for me?” she asked tentatively.
“Of course I would. It could be quite an experience,” Carminda responded excitedly.
Jacqueline wondered what her parents would think about these ideas of hers. Her father might adopt an open-minded approach, but her mother would not be easy to convince. She might be over-protective, as usual. Jacqueline was considering the idea of not telling them at all.
Carminda told Laura about her planned trip to Brazil.
“Well, now I’m thinking about it; going on to do a modelling assignment in Brazil might be quite the kind of thing for you to do,” she suggested to Laura. “Before you answer, just consider it,” Carminda continued, before Laura could respond.
