Carminda decided to phone Jacqueline right away.
“I can’t take chances. We need as much information as possible. As many assistants as possible, whether it’s private investigators or psychics,” she told herself as she paced up and down in her lounge.
She then picked up her cell phone from a side table and dialled Jacqueline's number.
It sounded strange that she should be needing Jacqueline so much lately.
“I suppose it’s good training for her, otherwise she will delay following her calling,” Carminda thought as she waited for her call to be answered.
“Hi Jacqueline, is everything okay there?” Carminda began.
“Oh, yes, I’m well, but has something happened to that man already? The one with the disease?” Jacqueline asked in a hurry.
“No, he has only just met Laura and Blake, but now they need our help urgently. Their daughter has been abducted and we can’t think who the culprit can be.
