Fire Energy

In the Australian outback, Blake faced challenges of a different nature. The fire dragon line's corruption manifested as an inferno that conventional firefighting methods couldn't approach, let alone extinguish. From their observation point on a rocky outcrop, the sight was both terrifying and awe-inspiring—flames that twisted in unnatural patterns, occasionally forming shapes too deliberate to be coincidental.

"The fire speaks," Warru said, his weathered face illuminated by the distant blaze. "It is angry, confused. It burns without purpose, without renewal."

Blake extended his fire sense toward the conflagration, immediately encountering resistance—not just heat and flame, but a corrupted will that pushed back against his probing.

"There's something in there," he reported, wiping sweat from his brow. "Not just fire gone wild, but a consciousness directing it."
