CHAPTER 2:- Surprising Roommate

The boy's destiny was never the same after that brief meeting between Svarbhan and Vaelith; it seems the goddess of fate has something in store for him that he must climb up, find, and confront on his own. He awoke this morning as usual, but this time he chose a different way to travel to his institute to avoid yesterday's events. He wanted to forget about the void that had appeared and threatened to take his and his friend's lives. He reached his classroom with bandages on his left arm which he got from the previous day's explosion. He entered his classroom and was greeted by his female classroom teacher in her late 20s, who teaches space science, asking him with worry "Svarbhan are you okay?? how did you get hurt?? I stumbled upon the reason for your leave in the evening that you texted me and I was shocked to know the appearance of the void in the safe space, how is Tairo??", being bombarded with constant questions he felt nothing helpless and with a sigh, Svarbhan responded with an assuring smile "you don't need to worry miss Anna I am pretty much good and as for Tairo he is resting at his house as per the doctor's suggestion for a full recovery.", listening to me miss Anna calmed down and stopped with her bombarding questions. All of my classmates were also worried about me but I littered up the atmosphere assuring them that me and Tairo are fine. With the regular schedule of classes, I was not able to focus, not due to the incident of the previous day but the familiarity of the presence I was sensing. I waited till the lunch break which lasts for around 40 minutes and took the chance to go to an isolated place in my institute. Without any delay, I asked "Why are you following me?? Didn't I tell you that I have no interest in your business nor am I interfering in it.", listening to it Vaelith said "You are indeed unique and always able to sense my presence even when I am trying hard to conceal it. You are just intriguing to me. None of the humans were able to sense it yet here you standing before me and calling me out sensing me when I am concealing every bit of my presence. Perhaps are you an AWAKENER ??".

While Vaelith was giving his reasonings to me I was intrigued by the term Awakener he used and I asked "What do you mean by so-called Awakener?", seeing my puzzled look Vaelith sighed and dismissed it and said, "I will explain it to you in due time." before he could say anything more I asked him "You still have not answered my question of why I am getting followed by you? I never sensed an ounce of hostility from you so I can safely assume that you are not after my life, so what do you want?", to which Vaelith firmly replied with exhaustion with his fingers rubbing the temple of his nose "You see, you are the only human in this area who can see me and I don't know how this part of the world works compared to mine, and before you question further it was never my intention to come here I just got mysteriously transferred to here, while I got transported to here I felt like my consciousness was being tore apart if it was any low level being he/she would have become a mindless beast ravaging the so called precious safe space of yours. For I have my strong will so I survived it.", then with a sense of embarrassment he added, "I have no place to go or any method to return so I hope you can let me stay at your home and rest assured I will not meddle in your day to day daily activities.", seeing him like this and out of kindness I allowed him to stay at my house and thus I got myself a new room partner who was not a human which is pretty common in this age of world. Suddenly the bell rang indicating the lunch break to be over. I gave my keys to Vaelith and said "Here take it and enter my home, I will come after my classes are done and I want to have a long discussion with you over dinner" After that, I hurried to my classroom. Seeing my running figure fading Vaelith laughed with amusement and thought to himself "Looks like these upcoming days will be trouble" Then with a serious tone he added "I will do my best to prevent the disaster and will not let the PHENOMENON proceed any further as it is a danger to all of the species out there. It shall not pass the ECLIPSAR, it shall not happen again or else peace will be disturbed. He shall not awaken again or else it will be a doomsday for all the species", he teleported to Svarbhan's house and entered the room to find it very neat and tidy.

Vaelith is a person with a commanding character yet a calm demeanor personality, he knows his purpose here yet decides to keep it to himself. The man is surrounded by mysteries that have yet to be revealed. He knows that he can't do it alone so he has to gather allies and amidst everything Svarbhan has caught his eye as a potential ally. For a species that should be thriving in cold deserts or cold areas, he has accepted his fate and is trying to reshape the fate of others. He has always believed that fate is nothing but a script written in sand.
