Sacha Awaiting Her Moment!

Today's fighting arena was bustling with activity, even more boisterous than yesterday. Just the section for Evolvers had filled up with over forty people. This meant that all these forty-plus individuals were Evolvers!

Maxwell arrived at the venue but didn't attempt to mingle. Each Evolver had their own circle, and being new, Maxwell had no intention of forcing his way into any group. Moreover, he didn't want to expose Eva and Carline to the superficial judgments of the crowd, which would be even less enjoyable!

He had found Wanda particularly annoying the day before!

So, before leaving yesterday, he had reserved a private box. Today, upon arriving at the arena, Maxwell directly led Eva and Carline into the box. Then, Maxwell used the communication equipment provided in the box to contact Sacha outside.

In this era, cell phones were of course inoperative, but walkie-talkies within a few kilometers were still functional, and there were special methods of communication between Evolvers.

About fifteen minutes later, it was Sacha's turn to compete.

As soon as Sacha entered the arena, some people immediately noticed her.

"Is that the fighting zombie of that man?" a young man asked in another private box not far from Maxwell.

"Exactly!"

"You know what to do, right? Bribe the management first, and at the end, send in the 'hammer' to ensure that zombie gets killed! How dare he ogle my woman, he's asking for trouble!"

"Yes!"

"Don't rush off. If you can't bribe the management, tell him I'm Basil."

Basil instructed.

"Yes!"

In fact, many people wanted to target Sacha, especially because she had won twenty consecutive matches the day before and had accumulated twenty points. This was enough to make many people envious!

The first zombie to face Sacha was fairly normal, just a high-level zombie. It didn't last for more than a few seconds before Sacha snapped its neck.

The second opponent was a Tier 2 zombie, stronger than the first one. However, it was still no match for Sacha. In under half a minute, Sacha turned it into a lifeless corpse, much to the distress of its owner!

"I didn't expect this zombie to be quite strong! But 'Hammer' should still handle her easily, shouldn't be a problem," Basil thought.

Next came the third match, which was also over quickly. The fourth match went just as smoothly.

Then, the fifth opponent entered the ring.

This zombie was massive, with the strength of a Tier 2 peak. It was also wrapped in thick chains, and the end of the chains was tied to a large iron hammer.

No wonder it was called Hammer.

The large iron hammer itself was certainly heavy, and wielded by a Tier 2 peak zombie, a hit from it would probably be fatal.

As Hammer dragged the large iron hammer behind it into the arena, it seemed almost excited, swinging the hammer madly and charging at Sacha. Sacha had no choice but to keep dodging swiftly.

Its strength was formidable, using the large iron hammer for both attack and defense. Sacha tried to attack several times, but Hammer blocked each attempt, forcing Sacha to continue dodging, using her speed to maneuver around him.

It was clear to see that Hammer was pressing Sacha, and her situation looked dangerous.

"Hahahaha, good job, Hammer! Hit it hard! Kill it for me!"

In the private box, Basil laughed as he watched the situation unfold in the arena.

"Is that his zombie? It's a Tier 2 zombie! If he can capture a Tier 2, his strength must be at least Tier 3 or higher! But his behavior yesterday was quite reckless, staring at Percival's daughter for so long, he has already enraged Basil! Look, here comes the Hammer now! That hammer is Basil's ace in the hole!"

In the section where the Evolvers were seated, many Evolvers realized what was happening as soon as they saw Hammer enter the arena.

"See, this must be Basil's doing, he's getting back at him for you! That man's zombie is about to die!"

Wanda watched the Hammer zombie in the arena and started clapping her hands, laughing.

"Ah," the lady sighed softly and shook her head.

...

"Eva, Carline, look at the two in the arena, who do you think will win?" Maxwell asked in the private box.

He had asked casually, not really expecting Eva and Carline to respond, but to his surprise, Carline actually raised her hand and pointed at one of them.

Following the direction of her finger, Maxwell saw that Carline was pointing at Sacha.

A smile immediately spread across Maxwell's face.

Not just because Carline picked Sacha, who was his zombie, but because Carline was now responding to him, showing that they could interact more, which was a positive development!

Could it be that the more they engaged in such activities, the quicker and more noticeable Carline's changes would be?

Maxwell was very pleased, leaned over to Carline and gave her a kiss, saying, "Good job, Carline, you are amazing! I'll reward you well tonight!"

After kissing Carline, Maxwell did not forget about Eva sitting beside him. He picked Eva up and let her sit on his shoulders to watch the match.

At that moment, in the fighting arena, Sacha was using her speed advantage to dodge quickly, looking quite desperate under the assault of the Hammer zombie.

But the fact was, Hammer hadn't even touched the hem of her clothes.

However, the area where she could maneuver was continuously shrinking.

It seemed unlikely that Sacha could wear Hammer down with a war of attrition, as that would require at least half an hour, and looking at the situation in the arena, Sacha wouldn't last that long.

"However, Sacha is smart; she must be looking for an opportunity!" Maxwell had already seen through Sacha's plan.

Mutant zombies are extremely adept at combat, and their battle instincts are frighteningly sharp.

Sacha was waiting because Maxwell knew she still had an ace up her sleeve—the Swiftstride Boots!

Finally, the time came!

Swinging the massive hammer was draining Hammer; his movements seemed slower than at the start, with visible pauses, each swing halting momentarily.

"Sacha, is this your chance?" Maxwell muttered to himself, eyes glued to the arena.

Indeed, Sacha charged out like a gust of wind, swiftly moving through the narrow gap between Hammer's chains and hands. Her wrist flipped, and her short sword swiftly slid across Hammer's neck.

With a loud clang, Hammer's massive hammer crashed to the ground, and his mountainous body also thunderously fell, crashing towards the spectator seats. Many people didn't react in time, and Hammer's body crushed several unfortunate souls.

After Hammer fell, his head struck the ground and snapped off his neck with a crack, rolling away.

Sacha had won!

"How is this possible!" In the private box, Basil's eyes widened as he watched the scene unfold on the arena. He abruptly stood up from the sofa, both shocked and furious.
