Chapter 13

Pravat sits outside the arena as 'The Prides of Music' takes the stage for the pre-show of their massive four-month tour. It's not that he's being kicked out, contrary to what everyone assumes. He has chosen to remain outside. The reason behind his decision is simple—he can't stand their deafening screams that they mistakenly refer to as music.

He scoffs and shakes his head, thinking about the whole drama inside. Just the mere thought of the concert infuriates him. There is no chance he will endure hearing their stupid screams for nearly an hour. Definitely not—he would rather die.

Nonchalantly munching on his sandwich, Pravat remains blissfully ignorant of his surroundings. Suddenly, his attention is snatched away by a presence wandering outside, with a faint scent of cinnamon and jasmine. It's none other than Tiwa Buathong, actually, but for some reason, the word 'presence' is what pops into his head at the sight of the omega.

It means the concert is over, but he doesn't recognize it. Anyway, does he care about it? No, not a single bit. His eyes fall into the form of Tiwa. It is the first time he has seen him alone since their encounter in his hotel room a couple of days ago. He elbows his chin and stares at him for a few moments as Tiwa dries his face with a towel and lets the fresh air hit him.

Tiwa is undeniably beautiful, with a slender figure, a flawless complexion, and a small face adorned with plump lips. His waist is tiny, and his lips have a subtle curve that perfectly suits an omega. In fact, he embodies everything that books have described about omegas. A sweet smile graces his lips, revealing a glimpse of his small white teeth. His eyes are wide, light-colored, yet overflowing with warmth. His hair gleams in the sun's rays, showcasing its shining brown hue, and is gently secured by a small hairpin near the edge on one side.

He wears skinny jeans and a blue denim jacket over his white t-shirt, which proudly displays the name of his band. Completing his ensemble, he sports a pair of leather gloves to protect his hands from dust. His appearance is enhanced by his thick-rimmed, square glasses, which he believes make him unattractive to others but actually add a hint of allure.

Despite all of this, which still manages to make Pravat's heart flutter, there is something about Tiwa that captivates his attention like a powerful magnet. It's nothing he's able to describe, not even in his mind. There is an aura surrounding Tiwa—an invisible glow that envelops him.

Pravat feels drawn toward Tiwa as if gravity itself is pulling him toward this gorgeous being who remains completely unaware of how blatantly the alpha is staring. He stands up and shoves his hands into his pockets, walking over. "Baby deer!" He smirks, placing his hand on Tiwa's shoulder and giving it a light squeeze.

In an instant, Tiwa turns sharply, his eyes widening in surprise. "W-What.." He stammers, unable to find the right words to say. It's not the fear of being caught by Pravat that renders him speechless; rather, it's the omega's fear of being caught by the alpha that leaves him momentarily speechless.

"D-Don't.." He places his hand on Pravat's chest and scans the surroundings for assistance, but to his surprise, no one is nearing them.

It wasn't as if they had never touched each other before, but that was a friendly touch in their childhood. But when the omega's hand touches Pravat this time, it just strokes the fire that has already been burning deep inside him.

In an instant, Pravat realizes that Tiwa is no longer by his side and becomes slightly annoyed. Frantically, he searches the arena, pausing at each face only to have them pass by.

He runs inside and gets sick of another piece of noise pollution taking the stage. It's just when there is a lull in the crowd that he can finally spot Tiwa, standing quietly in the corner nearest to the stage, hiding in the shadow of a curtain. He's about to push through the throng of bodies when Tiwa suddenly looks up.

Fear. Frustration. Tension. All these emotions are displayed naked on Tiwa's face, but that isn't what makes Pravat's heart pound so hard; it makes his bones ache. A smirk curls on Pravat's lips as Tiwa looks at him with terrified eyes. Hidden in the corner of the omega's irises is a hope that he can escape somehow.

Before Pravat can make a move, Tiwa quickly ducks out the door and disappears into the corridor. With narrowed eyes, Pravat is determined not to let the omega get away so easily. He dodges more people along the way, catching a glimpse of Tiwa around the corner. He follows him, quickening his pace just enough to keep him in his line of sight without raising suspicion.

Knowing where Tiwa is headed, Pravat sidesteps him and leads him on a convoluted trek through several doors and a staircase until they reach two floors above the dressing rooms. This is where the offices are located, and most of it is cloaked in darkness, with the embedded ceiling's lights casting eerie circles on the floor.

Suddenly, Tiwa bites Pravat's hand, causing him to release his grip. This action drives Pravat crazy, and he cautiously peeks into the darkness, desperately searching for Tiwa. "Baby deer, where the hell are you?" The words are finally leaving his mouth. His voice is hushed but so quiet that his words sound like they are coming out of a bullhorn.

A noise catches his attention from behind, causing him to turn in that direction. When he looks back, Tiwa is nowhere to be seen. He curses quietly to himself and scans the room, allowing his eyes to adapt to the darkness. It is only then that he spots a faint glimmer of light on the floor, emanating from a slightly open door. He realizes that this time, the omega has managed to escape from the alpha's clutches.

With a deep breath, he growls in frustration before storming out of the door.
