297- Betrayal.

Swallowing her saliva, Nina turned her face a little and found Valerie sitting on the floor, "Valerie!"

She rushed to her and then looked for water around. She rang the bell of her small study and waited for the helper to arrive.

"Are you alright? Stay with me!" Valerie's eyes were glued to the screen. Before coming here, she was asking them to be her witnesses. And now someone tried to kill them cold-heartedly.

According to the news, they were immediately taken to the hospital.

Valerie's eyes fluttered open as someone slapped her cheeks lightly. Blinking, she saw Nina leaning over her, gently spraying water on her face.

Her head throbbed and for a moment, everything felt hazy. She frowned, looking around in confusion, trying to piece together where she was.

Nina's lips were moving, but Valerie couldn't make out what she was saying. Her mind was still foggy, the words somehow sounded muffled.
