The Fall of Vinumregnum

Central Continent, Vinum'purpureum, the capital of the Vinumregnum duchy.

The Vinumregnum duchy was a powerful duchy known for its trade. It had risen with the fall of the Tanku kingdom, cornered by its neighbors in the northwest of the central continent about two hundred years ago, and had successfully maintained its existence since then.

Each of the seven generations of dukes had strived to expand the lands and power of the duchy, resulting in a force capable of resisting even aggressive neighbors like the Oldthern kingdom.

Vinum'purpureum was both the commercial and administrative center of the duchy. It had strong defenses with its three-layered walls and moat. It stood in the midst of green and fertile lands. It was reasonably close to many cities in the duchy and surrounded by various military camps. It was impossible for any enemy force to cross the border and besiege the capital in a short time.
