The past few years had brought significant changes to the city. New layers of walls were constructed to expand the city, creating ample space for the growing population. Additionally, the old walls and buildings were renovated and made more resilient. The people were dynamic and energetic, and the motivating atmosphere—brimming with opportunities created by the nation—had captivated everyone.
Due to the widespread presence of powerful figures, durability in craftsmanship had become more valued. Of course, the settlement sustained minimal damage thanks to Hvítreiðr's registry system and the guard corps trained to maintain internal stability. However, knowing that trying to suppress the martial nature of the northerners would not yield good results, Ülgen had duel arenas built in major settlements, including the newly established cities, to resolve conflicts.
