I'm Worried

"I have to do a lot of research on the Damari family." She pulled away.

"How are we sure you're going to get married to that family? And we don't know who you'll get married to and it is said that one of the sons of Old Sir Reyes, the current head of the family, has a mental disorder."

"Really?" She asked.

"Young Master Lucius Damari is often referred to as the devil's son. He is occasionally seen wearing dark coloured clothes and if possible, he avoids the media."

"His charismatic personality and alluring looks has attracted thousands of adoring fans worldwide. He told her all he knew.

"He has mild amnesia, eating and sleeping disorders. Apart from that, he is loved by both women and men. He owns several companies around the world and has rivals among his siblings."

"He is quiet, observant, systematic, flexible, hot tempered, manipulative, persistent, dependable and is good at hiding his emotions except from anger, dissatisfaction, resentment, hate, annoyance and murderous intent which he frequently exhibits."

"People who are close to him say that he is very aggressive and violent when triggered but has a sarcastically caring nature."

"So, what about it? He seems like any rich young master."

"During June and July of every year, he is never seen by the media and whenever he comes back in August, he is more vicious than usual. You saw him once. What color are his eyes?"

"Silver."

"Silver is an uncommon eye color but during the period between June and August, his eyes look metallic-grey, almost steel colored. No one knows what happens to him during that time. And with your mental illness and his, it might not be a good idea for you two to get married."

"I see " She tapped her chin. "But, we still aren't certain that I would be engaged to him."

"I know, I know." He caressed her cheek. "I just don't want you..."

Zuri leaned closer and kissed him lightly on his cheek. "You really don't have to worry. I'll be fine so, let's watch the story unfold."

He sighed. "As you wish."

She deconstructed her stethoscope and carried it back upstairs. They went to sleep a while later, thinking of the days to come.
