Zuri's POV

I groaned and opened my eyes. The soft hum of a car engine buzzed in my ear. My body hurts all over and I shifted in the soft car seat. Yup, I'm in a car and something smells familiar in here.

'What is going on?'

"Careful, you had a seizure." I heard a deep and dangerous male voice yet it was sultry and gentle.

I knew who it was. Lucius held my waist and pulled me a bit closer to himself.

'Now I remember.' I couldn't struggle because I was pretty exhausted.

'This is quite comfortable.' I yawned, paying no attention to Lucius.

Lucius's POV

I looked at the little girl who was suddenly nestling by my side. One moment, she's like a rocket, the next, she's a quiet mice. I am definitely going to take advantage of her weak state.

"Master Damari, where are we going?" She asked in a low tone, finally looking up at me.

"Where else do you think we are going?" I answered, staring right back at her. "An engaged lady isn't going to stay with her mother, is she?"

She heard a gate open and shut her eyes . I chuckled at her reaction and felt the car drive into the estate. She wouldn't even know who was driving the car since there was a black board separating the front seat from the back. I heard another gate open and then the next.

The car stopped and Zuri moved away from me. I got out of the car and opened the door for her. But, she was still too weak to walk and after taking a few steps forward, she fell into my arms.

"Master Damari, I'm sorry." She blushed. "I didn't mean to..."

I just scooped her up and held her tightly. "Quiet. Look around."

She lifted her head from my chest and looked around the surrounding area. The imagery of my house seemed to dance before her eyes as she drank in every detail. The sakura trees stretching their branches to the windows, the rose peta and light chocolate painted walls and warms lighting.

Her eyes reflected the awe that her face chose to hide. It was.... mesmerising.

Zuri's POV

This place is magnificent. It felt warm and cozy and I haven't even gone in yet.

The gate that we just entered had been closed and locked so I had only one guess; we are inside the Young Master's private estate, which was in the centre of the Shooting Star estate.

The realisation shook me. I'm gonna live in his house? I scanned the place again, wishing to know more.

He seemed to understand because he started to walk around the place.

The entire area was covered the fresh scent of sakura and stargazer lilies. There was another small building far from his house . I would ask it's use later. He returned back to the front door and stood there, just gazing at the house.

Lucius's POV

She inhaled deeply and jumped out of my arms, stabilising herself on the wall.

"Am I going to live in the Shooting Star estate?" She seemed excited as of she forgot everything that happened a few hours ago.

"As my fiancee, it is only reasonable that you'll be staying in my house with me. This is your new home." I took her hand and led her to the front door. He unlocked the door with my fingerprint and took her inside.

"I heard that your own house has three rooms, a kitchen, a study room and living room. Is that true?" She curiously asked, gaping at everything she could see.

I didn't answer but placed her right thumb on the fingerprint sensor.

'Fingerprint recognition. Finger print recognised.' A small voice buzzed.

"Now, you can come in and out with your thumb print." I said, turning to the others in the room.

Three maids were standing in front of us and Zuri hid behind me.

"Greetings, Master Damari. Welcome home." They bowed.

"Thank you. I hope you have prepared dinner for Sawyer, I and my guest." I asked.

Lois, the blonde, stepped forward. "We have prepared your dinner."

"I do have you have eaten."

"Yes, we have." She replied.

"Good." Without warning, I carried Zuri and passed the maids. She covered her face, probably not wanting the maids to see her. I took her to her room door and left her there.

"When you finish cleaning up, meet me downstairs for dinner." I straightened my clothes.

"What of my things at home?"

"I took a trip to your house and brought them here. You will find everything you need in this room." I turned and strided away.
