Sebastian tried to chase Winter, but the moment she slammed the door, he knew the best thing he could do was leave her alone.
Cindy glanced at the door quickly before returning her gaze to Sebastian. She gave a meek smile and said, "You don't need to worry about her, Mr. Saenz. I think Winter is just a little jealous. I am sure she'll know I'm no threat at all."
Sebastian sighed.
He returned to his desk, ignoring Cindy, whose eyes were glued to him the whole time.
He sat down and absentmindedly turned to look at Cindy, who blushed and lowered her head in embarrassment. "P—Please don't stare at me like that, Sebastian—um, I mean, Mr. Saenz. Is it okay for me to call you Sebastian in private? Since we are in-laws and all."
"Keep your professional attitude. Call me Mr. Saenz in the office," Sebastian clarified. "You can call me Sebastian if my wife allows you to do that."
