Chapter 100

The big smile slowly falters from Sebastian's lips. He knew that it would be hard for Winter to move on, both from Aiden's love and Sebastian's cruelty and ignorance in their past life.

It was good that Winter didn't hate him anymore—as long as she didn't know the truth about him, of course.

"I understand," Sebastian said as he backed off immediately. He tried to keep his smile, but it didn't seem as genuine as before. "Well, thank you for giving me a second chance, Winter. I hope we can start anew. I truly married you because I fell in love, not for your money."

Sebastian took another step back and said, "I should go back to my room. I'm exhausted after dealing with Lucien LeBlanc. He's such a difficult man."

He was about to turn around, but Winter suddenly stopped him, "Are you forgetting something, Seb?"

"Forgetting something?" Sebastian tried to recall everything that happened so far, and he thought there was nothing wrong.
