Shit... I'm still stuck in this place!!!
Joseph opened his eyes. This time there wasn't any clothing on his eyes, so he could see the area much more clearly.
Right now, he was inside a stone room. His hands and legs were tied up to a wooden log standing in the middle of the room.
The room was dark and had a gloomy aura filling the surrounding atmosphere.
"Are you awake, gentleman?" Suddenly, a soft elderly voice diverted his attention towards a particular area of the empty room.
"It seems you are very confused about your situation." An elderly man came out from the dark place with a sinister smile on his face. There was a weird cross mark on his bare left chest, and he had white hair with a wrinkled face.
Now who the fuck is this guy...
Joseph looked at the elderly man with a suspicious gaze. His mouth was tied up, so he couldn't say anything, but his mind was tingling about the danger this man could be for his own life.
"Let me explain about your situation, young man." The elderly guy spoke with a calm smile, and seeing that face, Joseph felt goosebumps rolling inside his body.
"My name is Gorgun, and I'm the elder of our group, which directly comes under the '13 Patrons of Devil'." The elder man spoke with a sinister smile on his face.
So they are demon-worshipper cults...
Joseph wasn't much surprised, as he knew many demon-worshipper cults still existed in his old world, and in this world where the Devil himself resides people filled with greed for power will follow them.
But what's 13 Patrons...
Joseph was still confused about this situation. From whatever he had deduced till now, he could tell that he was captured by some devil worshipers and they were going to offer him as a sacrifice to the Devil to gain power, as these cults do.
"Now we'll give you a chance to submit to the Devil and become one with true despair." The elderly guy spoke with a happy and pleasured look, and hearing him, Joseph's body started to tremble with fear.
This bastard is crazy!!!
I have to do something...
Joseph looked around and started to struggle. He didn't know what he wanted to do, but still, he struggled to escape. However, his frail body didn't help him much, and seeing his struggle, a smile came up on the elderly man's face.
"It's futile to struggle. You are getting the chance to become one of the Devil's subordinates. You're so lucky, I'm so jealous..." The old man shook his head with a disappointed look.
Damn it, old fucker, I don't want to be one with anyone. Let me go...
"Hmmmhhhmm," Joseph cursed the old man, who looked at the scene with a delighted look.
"After the ceremony is ready, we'll call you..." The old man spoke with a meaningful look, "...till then enjoy your remaining time in this world..."
You fucking old bastard!!!!!
After saying that, the elderly man left Joseph in the dark room and came out to meet his subordinates.
"Don't slack. Your eyes should be fixed on him."
"Yes, Elder!!"
Two people standing outside the door nodded their heads with a submissive look, and after instructing them properly, the old man left to finish his preparation for the ceremony.

"Hmm...so they are going to make him a sacrifice..." A girl hiding in the shadows spoke as her eyes, which somehow turned blue, changed their color to her normal black color.
"What should I do... Sister didn't tell me to save someone... Her orders were to destroy this hideout..." She spoke in a low tone as her mind conflicted with herself about whether she should help him or leave him alone and destroy everything.
"What do you think..." She turned her head towards the other person standing there with no response whatsoever.
"Yeah, you don't speak..." She spoke with a slightly disappointed tone.
"He has a mark just like me. If I save him, probably my sister would praise me...." She clenched her fist with a resolved look.
"Then I'll save him!!" She spoke as she nodded her head.
"Let's go..." She spoke and moved forward while the other guy just closely followed her from behind.

Damn it, I can't do anything!!!!
Joseph, still stuck in a dark room with his hands and legs restrained, muttered to himself.
I don't have mana inside me. I shouldn't have used my mana in that damn thing.
Joseph tried everything he could, but his bindings were stronger than his frail body.
Ha...it's futile, no matter what I do, I can't escape from my fate.
Joseph stopped his struggle and just lay there in silence.
Thud...
Haa...what's that sound!!!!
Joseph heard some rustling sound from behind, but all he could see was darkness.
Huh!!! What's that, what's touching my hand!!!!
Joseph was freaking out as some kind of hard object was touching his hand from behind. The touch was cold and sent shivers down his spine.
"Stop moving, or I'll leave you here alone!!"
Suddenly, Joseph heard a female voice from behind and stopped moving, letting his body rest at ease.
SUSS...
Joseph felt his restraints getting looser, and now he could move his body again, which filled his heart with immense joy.
"Ha...at last I can talk..."
Joseph, whose mouth was sealed for a while, feared that he might lose his ability to talk. He took a relieved gasp after hearing his voice.
"I should then—...."
As Joseph turned around to say his thanks to the mysterious person who saved him, his eyes only got wider with a shocked look.
"You...what are you!!!"
Joseph asked his question with a shuddering voice as he saw a human-like creature with a body made of stone. To be precise, it was a humanoid golem.
"Hey, don't look at me like that. It's my summon, and I'm sharing my senses with it. So stop looking at me like that and move forward!!!"
The golem didn't have a face. It was just a rock with three small holes acting like its eyes, nose, and a big hole as its mouth from where the sound of a girl was getting projected.
"Let's move.."
The golem spoke as it moved forward with great agility, which surprised Joseph as golems weren't supposed to be that fast.
BOOM
A powerful blow by the golem broke the outer section of the wall, revealing a path hidden behind it.
"Let's move!!!"
.

.
.
"The ritual is ready!!!"
Someone spoke with a calm look while Gorgun nodded his head with a slight smile on his face.
"Bring the slave..."
BOOM
"What was that??"
"There is an intruder!!!!"
Everyone started to panic while Gorgun just looked forward towards a stone altar that was standing in the center of a big room.
"Tsk...AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"
"What happened, Elder??"
Gorgun suddenly started to scream while pulling his hair with so much force that his hair started to fall apart and blood could be seen coming out of them.
"FIND HIM!!!"
"Ah!! Yes, Elder!!!"
Everyone ran towards the place where the explosion just occurred with a grim look while the Elder just stared towards the altar in a dimly lit room. The roof over the altar was opened and the blue light of the moon was directly falling over the altar.
"Summon the dogs...."
"Elder, bu—"
"DO IT!!!!"
"Yes, Elder..."
The other guy, with a hesitant look, nodded his head and at a slow pace walked towards a gate that was made of stone and looked very old.
"Do I have to do this...."
The guy with a hesitant look stared toward the gate which had an ominous aura coming out of it. Anyone could tell the thing inside this gate wasn't good and surely pure evil.
"Haa...let's do it...."
The guy touched the hard surface of the stone and chanted some words which caused the door to start glowing with a red light. Previously, the symbols or the ancient runes used to bind the gates started to glow.
"I should wear the cloak first..."
He spoke and took out a cloak hidden in a cloth bag. He wore the cloak and gave a little push to the door, which resulted in the door starting to open slowly, revealing a dark room inside it.
"Where are they...."
The guy questioned himself and walked inside with a frown on his face.
It might be dangerous if he didn't wear the cloak, which is a magical artifact that uses stored mana from inside, making him invisible to the eyes of those dogs. But there is a big problem with this cloak: if it suffers damage, then the mana inside will leak out, attracting mana-hungry beasts.
"What is happening...."
The guy walked forward and, with the lack of movement inside, suspicion arose in his mind.
He narrowed his eyes and turned around to see the elder standing near the door with the same cloak, looking at him with a cold expression.
"You thought that I didn't know what you did..."
The elder spoke, and the guy just narrowed his eyes with a frown.
"How do you think that they found out about this hidden place...."
"!!!"
As the elder spoke more, the guy realized his mistake.
"No one should know about this place, but somehow intruders got inside. It was obvious that there was a mole in the cult..."
The elder, with a calm look, spoke as his hand touched the rough surface of the door.
"And it is you..."
The elder spoke, and a big scary smile spread on his face.
"NOOOO!!!!"
The guy tried to run towards the door, but the elder, with a crazy smile, closed it before he could reach the door.
"Please, Elder, don't do this! I swear I didn't tell anyone. Please let me out!!!!!"
The guy started to bang his hands on the solid door, but no matter how much he tried, the door didn't budge.
Swiss
"Huh!!"
A wind breeze suddenly flew towards his back, sending shivers down his spine. He grabbed the back side of the cloak with a hurried look and saw a big cut which was hidden by the same color of clothing used to make the cloak, hiding the cut very perfectly.
"NOOOO!!!! PLEASE, ELDER, LET ME GOOO, I BEG YOU, I WON'T DO THAT AGAIN!!!!"
The guy started to scream with fear as the wind breeze also became much stronger and faster. The breeze was warm and filled with a bad odor but still was enough to send shivers down his bones.
Thud
"Ha!!"
The guy turned around towards the darker section of the room and saw two red shiny orbs flying, looking at him.
The two orbs became four, and four turned to eight, eight turned to sixteen, sixteen turned to twenty-four, and at last fifty orbs were looking at him. To be more precise, they were the eyes of many creatures looking at their prey.
"NOOOOOO!!!!"
GROWL
"UUUUUWWWWWHHHHHHH—!!!!!"
The next thing heard from inside were the painful screams of a person who got devoured alive by those beasts.
"....."
After five minutes of hell, everything went silent and the door opened again, but this time the elder walked with a staff which had a red ruby shining on top of it.
The whole room was covered with blood and gore. Even his dead body was erased from the face of this earth. Nothing was left now, but this didn't concern the elder. The blood was like an everyday thing for him.
He walked inside and saw the same spectacle of red eyes shining in front of him, but he wasn't scared at all.
Gorgun moved his staff in front and suddenly a red light flashed throughout the room, blinding everyone. After the light went away, Gorgun, with a huge smile, looked forward.
"Find the intruders and bring the boy to me, alive..."
'Just a little longer, my Lord...'
