Chapter 63: New Member

Matter is mutable. 

From man comes both the material and the immaterial. Man is mutable both in the material and immaterial planes. Therefore, isn't it entirely plausible that what comes from man is also entirely mutable? 

If we can make men bend to our will, wouldn't it be entirely plausible that we can make what is born from man also bend to our will? Would that be considered slavery? I hope not… if the world is alive, and we enslave it… we are the enemy… and one day it will have its freedom.

"HUF COUGH COUGH

In a dark room, illuminated by only a ray of light penetrating the semi-open curtain, a man woke up choking on his own breath. 

"Nightmares again?" 

His roommate was sitting on the bed next to him, watching. 

"I woke you up... I'm sorry..." said the man. 

"You've been saying that quite often recently. Besides, it's already morning." 

"I know..."
