Planet Olreon: Part 1

Entering the hotel would greet one to a fantastic view I feels like it came straight from a fantasy book.

All kinds of fancy furniture were in the lobby which made the hotel have a feeling of luxury and may different people were in there, making it a lively place.

It was also quite bright inside, illuminating everything in sight with the big chandeliers on the ceiling.

The group went to find Raven and Lucas soon spotted her, coming up to her and speaking.

"Hello Ms. Cromwell, we have our group ready."

Raven saw this and gave them each their room.

"One of you will be roommates with someone else."

Everyone nodded hearing that and disperse to go find their hotel room.

Roseline soon found her room and opened it up, glad that she had some alone time to herself now.

"Finally."

She was about to doze off on her bed that she had gotten on when suddenly the door open, grabbing her attention.

The dude with brown hair and eyes with glasses came into her view.

'Ah the awkward kid.' Roseline thought soon turning her head.

Aiden looked at Roseline who had no interest in him, and kept thinking about what Lucas had said.

Roseline felt his stare still into her.

Turning around, still on the bed, Roseline looked at Aiden as well.

The staring contest continued until Aiden got a bit frightened and started moving to the other bed.

While Roseline had thought it was quite irresponsible of the military base to do this, pairing a boy and girl together.

But then again, the military was always going to be like this.

The internet had many cases of the military not really caring about what the soldiers do in their free time, putting the responsibility of their actions to themselves and themselves only.

Plus there were two beds. All she has to do was kick Aiden out whenever she had to do something private, like changing.

Like that, Roseline went to sleep.

….

Everyone was outside near the border to the desert.

It was clear where the desert started and ended as the tan sand had created a line across it.

The students were in their groups talking and waiting for the teachers announcement to enter the desert.

"Hey Aiden who was your hotel roomie?"

"Uh, Roseline…"

"Ah, you two together in a room sure make the air go stiff."

"What about you Lucas?…"

"I was roomed with Emma, guess the base doesn't care if students get into an… accident."

"Because they can just simply expel them." Emma chimed in.

"Ah well I guess… What about you Lelia?"

Lelia was listening on into the conversation and thought for a moment before saying.

"I don't know. She was real pretty though, I think she is related to Mr. WhiteHeart."

"What's her name?"

"Iris WhiteHeart."

"Dude what?"

"Huh did I say something wrong? She there something special about her?"

"Well yeah , she part of one of the great families. She's in the same one as that Seth's assistant."

"Oh."

Roseline didn't really care about the conversation, but instead was looking at what to spend her 11 free Stat points on next.

Atlas was soon enough done talking to the officers planted on Olreon and started talking to the students.

"Making sure you have all your stuff ready. We will be around the desert keeping an eye out for any dangers that are to strong for your level so that the expedition goes smoothly."

"Go into the desert now and gather as much information as you can."

With that all the groups started to run across the border into the heat of the desert.

Roseline's group had gone south-east where there were less people going.

Every once and a while someone in the group found a new plant or animal and had it documented in their ID.

But as they slowed down to scan them, another group ran over and 'stole' one of Lelia's finds.

Before Lelia could confront them, they had already ran away.

That continued for a while before everyone was tired.

Grabbing her knees and gasping, Lelia spoke after a few seconds. "The other groups are taking some of our findings, I guess it's first come, first serve."

Emma had created an ice block and was breaking it into pieces while responding. "We just have to be faster then them, killing some beast should do."

"We have a few people in our team that aren't fit for fighting." Lucas had said, looking at Aiden and Roseline.

"Then leave them with our supplies, away from the fighting."

Aiden was alright was the arrangement but not Roseline, she had to get out and fight beasts if she wanted to get more stronger.

But fighting with them wouldn't be good, so she decided to stay quiet.

Lelia, Lucas, and Emma separated from Roseline and Aiden to fight beasts, while Roseline thought of a plan to break off from Aiden.

"Awkward kid, I will go a few steps ahead to check if there are groups around us that may try to steal our supplies."

Aiden didn't really think that any group steal supplies would be a smart choice unless you wanted to be expelled for being the reason students were injured or even killed, but stilled agreed.

"Maybe I should be the one going around checking…"

"Why? Your weak."

"Your not awakes…."

"Just because of that? More of a reason for you to stay with the supplies."

"Oh ok.."

Roseline when ahead and slowly got more and more farther from Aiden.

….

Lucas had a deep feeling in his stomach that something bad may happen and told Lelia and Emma about it.

"We should be careful then." Lelia replied.

Lucas wasn't so sure about that.

From afar, Emma saw a beast that was a giant scorpion and told the other two.

"I see a magic sand scorpion."

"Ooo just our luck!"

The magic sand scorpion stood at 13 feet and had a yellow outer shell with light brown muscles and flesh under it, sometimes showing from the cracks of its past injuries from fighting other beasts.
