Chapter 3;How I met her 1

Ashley arrived in her apartment feeling so tired. She did so many deliveries and had to go home late. She threw her black jacket on a chair and her bag, took off her shoes and placed them aside. She then walked towards Maria who was seated on the couch

Watching a romance series on the thirty two inches tv, while eating popcorn.

"Hey pie, " She greeted then joined her.

"Hey babe, " She responded then kissed her cheek.

"Another romance movie? " Ashley asked when she saw the show, then placed her right arm behind the couch, then picked some popcorn and threw them in her mouth.

"Yeah and it's so crazy _i mean this guy has to choose between two women that he loves! " Maria replied smiling at her.

"Mmm_don't you have any horror movies? " She asked mockingly, then had a smirk tracing her cherry lips.

"What! No, you know I don't watch that, " She state then frown.

Ashley just smiled. "It's okay, I was just kidding, " She state then picked more.

"So how was your day? " Ashley asked her.

"T'was busy, a bit boring... But the best part was when I had lunch with my father, " Maria state.

"He told me he's going to introduce me to his girlfriend soon, " She added.

"You must have had a good day_mine was busy to, I had to do a lot of deliveries, first to a dude in the post office, who was not so nice, he complained that his lunch was late and cold already so he rated me one star, " She state.

"Then to a grandma who was so kind to share her apple pie with me for lunch after delivering her new microwave_and still I had to deal with a bunch of other customers, " She added.

"You must have had a rough day huh! But the best part it's on the weekend now, you will relax, " Maria said smiling at her.

Ashley smiled then gave her a peck on her shiny pink lips.

"I love the way you make things seem so simple," She said.

Maria paused the movie and started kissing Ashley. She got on top of her, Ashley held he slender waist and pulled her close until their chests were touching. Ashley then started kissing her neck, then pulled back and stared into the ocean blue eyes of Maria.

"Why don't you go take a shower and relax while I prepare dinner for you love, " Maria state as she played with the ring on Ashley's left brow.

"Alright, I really do need it, " Ashley agreed. Maria got off her, put music on the screen and headed to the kitchen. Ashley then headed to the bathroom to freshen up herself.

Claire Allen and Scott Adams were in Taetop club. A very fancy and famous club. It was divided as the VIP and the regular sites. So the two were in the regular sites, not that they couldn't afford being in the VIP, but the regular was more fun since it was always full of people and loud music.

"Babe, this is so much fun! I think Ash needs this, " Claire exclaimed as they went back to sit at the bar stools and ordered some drinks.

"Yeah! She does, she had a really bad day," Scott agreed.

"I'll call her, " She said then took out her Tecno camon thirty from her purse.

Ashley was already in he pj's and was just done cleaning her teeth. She heard her old fashioned iPhone ringing. She took it and went back to the bathroom to pick it since she didn't want to wake Maria up.

"Hey Claire, it's in the middle of the night, why are you calling? " Ashley asked whispering.

"Calm down girl, I'm just calling to hear how you are, " Claire answered.

Ashley then heard the loud music in the background.

"Girl seriously where are you? " She asked.

"In a club, the Taetop club_please join us you and Maria, it's so much fun in here, " Claire exclaimed feeling enthusiastic. She peeped slowly at her girlfriend sleeping soundly at the 4/6 bed.

"No she's too tired_i will rather let her take her rest, " Ashley said then turned back to the Bathroom mirror.

"Then come along girl! It's so exciting," Claire said convincing her friend.

After pounding for some time, she came up with an answer. "Alright, what should I wear?" Ashley asked.

"Anything that is not boyish, please even if you have to borrow a dress from Maria, " Claire state.

"What! I can't wear that! " She said then chuckled.

"Please Ash come on, " Claire pleaded.

"Alright I'll see what I can get, " She said then the call ended.

She went to Maria's closet, then spotted a short red dress, then she smiled to herself then shook her head. Later in the same club at the VIP centre, Anderson Whitecross was hanging out with his fellow billionaire friends. They were just done laughing from Stanley Smith's joke.

"Oh my! Stanley now my ribs are hurting! " Robert Gales said still in stiches.

"Alright enough of the jokes, I have good news, " Anderson said.

"Tell us dude, " Stanley said excitedly.

"So I just had a meeting with one of the Chinese pioneers, Mr. Xian chu and I also signed the contract and now my products are now being exported in China, " Anderson bragged then sipped his whisky.

"Wow! Anderson thats great! Let's cheers,"Stanley state.

Then the three tossed their glasses and sipped their drinks.

Meanwhile Ashley finally arrived at the club.

Claire and Scott spotted her as she made way through the crowd.

" Oh! My. God girl! "Claire exclaimed.
