Chapter 64- Mirror Of Death

Alpha Rafael descended the narrow, spiraling staircase leading to the ground basement, the air growing colder and heavier with each step. The dim light cast long haunting shadows on the stone wall, which were damp and covered with patches of mold. The smell of mildew and decay lingered with the scent of blood, an olfactory assault that only hinted at the room's dark history, but the Alpha had grown used to such horrid sight, the only problem he encountered was the nausea he felt due to the putrid stench of the place, hence, he wore his nose mask.

As he reached the bottom, the sound of dripping water echoed within the confinement, each drop amplifying the oppressive atmosphere. The basement was more cavernous, with its ceiling low and arched, giving the impression of a crypt. Old, rusted, chains hung from the walls, and all kinds of archaic instrument significantly meant for torture were scattered about.
