The Tailor

The group erupts into laughter, and Robin feels her vision blur with unshed tears.

She can't bear to listen to another word. The pain of Malik's betrayal and the loss of everything she held dear was too much to bear.

Without a second thought, Robin turns and gathers her things, pulling on her clothes haphazardly before she flees, her footsteps echoing in the marble-clad hallway

She doesn't stop until outside, gulping in deep breaths of the crisp, fresh air.

The tears she's been holding back finally spill over, and she allows herself a moment of raw, unrestrained grief.

She doesn't stop crying for a long time.
