The housekeepers, during their usual circuit of the large townhouse, startle upon seeing Robin, their faces paling with shock.

"What happened to your face?!" one of them yells out, her eyes nearly bulging out of her skull. The other woman quickly hushes the first one, shooting Robin a nervous look.

Robin winces at her shrill voice, feeling a little sensitive this morning.

The women are surprised to see the usually poised and put-together Robin looking dishevelled and baggy-eyed.

"Um, what Rosie meant by that was, are you feeling quite right?" The other woman, Ruth, asks, her brow furrowed in concern. Rosie nods quickly, expression contrite.

Robin forces a smile, trying to conceal her nerves. "Yes, yes, I'm fine. Just a bit...anxious about the day ahead, that's all."

The women exchange a dubious glance.
