Chapter Fifty Six

~Motherbell~

Niamh went to see the Queen in her Manor in the company of her maids. The maids led her to the Queen's Flower Sanctum and they left.

"Neev, you're here" Queen Diantha beamed, gesturing her to come forward, where she sat on a beautiful cream coloured wooden chair.

Neev's eyes darted around the large flower Sanctum and unbelievably gasped. She'd been a flower lover since she was a child. She's obsessed and always crazy for flowers. Now, seeing a Sanctum specially made with flowers is inexplicably overwhelming and such a mesmerizing sight. Neev walked further in and explored the Flower Sanctum.

"Flowers!" She exclaimed, excitedly, her eyes twinkling in admiration.

"Do you love flowers?" Queen Diantha asked and Niamh nodded repeatedly.

"I'm obsessed with flowers, mother! I love flowers!" Niamh giggled happily.

Queen Diantha chuckled softly.

"Sadly, some of my flowers are dying" Queen Diantha stated as she walked towards a vase of Phoenix Flower. The once orange flower that blooms is now black and dead.

"I don't know what's wrong but most of my magical flowers are dying" Queen Diantha added.

Niamh sighed and slowly, so slowly reached her hand to touch the flower. Her movement was really slow as of she's scared to touch it.

Once she reached her hand and touched the flower, the unbelievable happened. The flower bloomed, it's bright orange colour came back glittered and came back to life. All the other dead flowers bloomed and came back to life.

Niamh gasped in shock. What the hell happened?!

"Oh my!" Queen Diantha exclaimed.

"How did you...?" She asked but trailed off as if she found her answer. Yes, she really found her answer.

Niamh is the goddess and she possesses all elemental powers. So, she used her Earth powers to resurrect all those flowers.

Queen Diantha smiled through her thoughts. "Oh Neev" she hugged her.

"Is...is that also among my unknown powers?" Niamh stuttered and Queen Diantha nodded with a smile as they disentangled.

"I'll personally teach you how to use your Powers, dear Neev" Queen Diantha said.

"Thank you mother. Niamh appreciates" Niamh bowed briefly.

Suddenly, Niamh's eyes landed on a Bluebell flower. Her eyes dimmed as she strode towards the flower. The Bluebell flower reminded her of her mother. She'd always referred the Bluebell flower as 'Motherbell', signifying the love for her mother.

"Neev dear" Queen Diantha strode towards her, noticing her sudden change of expression.

"What's wrong?" She asked, placing her palm on Neev's shoulders. Niamh slowly turned to her with teary eyes.

"This flower, it reminds me of my mother" Niamh replied, soberly, hanging her head low.

"I missed my family" She added. Queen Diantha felt bad for this lowlife supernatural. Like they never considered her feelings. Lansel brought her to the realm for protection but incidentally, she turned out to be goddess. There's no way the Queen will let her leave the realm again. Do, they're using her for their own benefits and never cared about her feelings. That's simply outrageous!!

"Queen Diantha cupped her cheeks and wiped her tears away.

"I'm sorry dear Neev. There are things I didn't explain to you but..." She paused and sighed.

"You'll understand as time goes on. I'll try my best for you to meet your family" she coaxed, patting her soothingly.

"I believe you, mother" Niamh said lowly. Staring at her face, she suddenly felt calm and relaxed seeing the Queen's charming smile and she also smiled.

"Here, this is for you" Queen Diantha picked up a basket filled with fruits and handed it to her.

"Neev appreciates this gesture. Thank you mother" Niamh collected the basket.

"Spend some time with me before leaving" Queen Diantha demanded and Neev nodded in response.

After spending a lot of time with the Queen, Niamh left to her chamber. She was passing through Lansel's manor she. She suddenly paused and looked at the basket.

"It'll be great to share it with him" she soliloquized and entered thea manor.

Lansel was there in his study,, handling some affairs. He dropped the book he was reading when he saw Neev and gestured her to come forward, which she did.

"Are those for me?" He asked, smirking.

"Mother gave it to me so, I want to share it with you" Neev replied and sat on the chair, beside him.

"Beautiful" Lansel mouthed and sat facing Neev. Niamh picked up a strawberry and gestured it towards Lansel's lips but Lansel urged her to eat.

Niamh shrugged and stuffed the strawberry into her mouth.

Lansel's next action left her breathless.
