~Healed~
It was the first breakfast with Queen Niamh. The Styrixs and Sullivans were all enthusiastic about it. They all bowed as she made her way to the head of the table. Lansel was settled on the other head and the rest were settled in between.
Queen Niamh left the dining room with Lucretzia.
"The Queen Mother was poisoned, but I don't know about it. Why?" Niamh asked.
"I apologise Your Grace. I was ordered not to tell you until you're married to King Lansel" Lucretzia replied with a bow.
"What is wrong with her, specifically?" She asked.
"She was poisoned and the poison is cursed. The new goddess' blood is the only cure" Lucretzia replied, whispering the last sentence and Neev snapped her had to stare at her.
"It was the most powerful witch, Cynara's doing. The leader of all covens" Lucretzia added.
"That witch!" "Let's go, I'm healing her" Niamh said and then turned to Orion, her shadow guard.
"Summon the doctor"
They all appeared in the Queen's Manor were she was sitting with Serephina.
"Mother" she rushed to the duo and hugged them both.
"Mother, I heard you're poisoned" she began and the Queen mother smiled.
"I will heal you" Neev added.
"Are you sure?"
"Aye mother" Niamh said and turned to Lucretzia, nodding at her.
Lucretzia came forward, holding a sharp knife. The door opened and princess Neriah and King Lansel walked in. Neev shot him a stare and continued what she was doing. Everyone watched as she cut her palm and blood started oozing out.
As the blood dropped, Lucretzia used her powers and suspended it in the mid air. She chanted some inaudible mantra and a white light glowed out of her palms, hitting the suspended blood. Everyone watched in awe as Lucretzia kept chanting the spell. The blood petrified and turned white.
She smiled as gestured it towards the Queen mother.
"This is now the antidote, all you need to do is swallow it" Lucretzia stated.
"And she's healed?" Niamh asked and she nodded. A round of applause room over.
"Oh! Your hand, your Grace" Lucretzia pointed at Neev's bleeding palm.
"I'll heal myself" Niamh smiled and covered her palm with her other hand. After a while, she let go and her hand was back to normal.
Neriah brought a cup of cranberry juice for the Queen Mother and she swallowed the antidote with it.
"Lucretzia, Queen Neev, thank you" Diantha smiled.
"No, Mother. It is my duty, as a daughter-in-law. I am glad I'm able to heal you" Neev stated, squeezing her palm softly.
"You will make a great Queen, Neev dear"
"Thank you mother"
Lansel smirked proudly at Neev's compassionate character. If not for her, his mother would have been dead by now. He is grateful to have her by his side. He stepped forward and bowed.
"Neev, I must thank..."
"No!" Niamh cut him off. She turned to face him properly.
"Don't thank me, she's also my mother"
"But still..."
"Don't prove stubborn, 'Damsel'" Niamh cut him off again. Everywhere became quite and tensed. Neev smirked at realization hit her. She called him 'Damsel' in front of his family.
"I promised to call you that in front of your family, you provoked me" she winked at him and walked pass him. Orion and Marcellus trailed behind her.
"Meet me at the throne room, we have some things to discuss" she added.
"Sly Silver Cat" Lansel mumbled, fingering his hair, helplessly and left.
"She became bolder when she became the Queen" Serephina mumbled.
"Maybe the crown had a power of boldness" Queen Diantha replied with a soft chuckle.
"They'd make good rulers" Serephina smiled.
"Long nay they reign"
"Mother!" Neriah rushed to her side.
"Where's your fiance, dear child?" Queen Diantha asked, cupping her cheeks.
"Back in his kingdom, I will go see him later in the evening" she blushed as she said that.
"You're glowing Lady Serephina" Neriah turned to her.
"Oh am I?! Maybe it's the beauty of the kingdom that radiates through my skin" Serephina replied.
"Or maybe beauty flows in the blood of the Sullivans" Neriah whispered and they all laughed shortly.
"I wish Lord Sullivan is here with his family. Queen Neev told me about his sudden disappearance. I felt sorry" Neriah said, her eyes dimmed.
"I wish the same" Serephina smiled sadly.
"Where ever he is, I hope he's alive and come back to us all" Neriah stated with a hint of hope in her eyes. Serephina smiled as her genuineness.
"I hope so, princess"
Neriah stood up and bowed. "I will let the women have some time alone"
In the throne room, King Lansel and Queen Neev sat high on their thrones. They exuded authority, regal elegance and sophistication. They are both eye-catching, definitely a sight for sour eyes.
In front of them is a man dressed in a complete set of silver armour, his gaze was sharp, his face was hard and expressionless, he's fierce and by mere looking, one can tell who he is. General Hecter, Commander of all forces of the Moon Realm.
Getting ready for the war to come between the Moon Realm and Develdion.
