Chapter 54

　　Usually, Javon was responsible for the cooking, and I would assist him aside. But Javon would do most of the things himself. I basically had nothing to do. But I couldn't let myself sit and wait for the food to be served on the table while Javon was busy working in the kitchen. So I would stay in the kitchen and try to do something washing. Javon seemed happy that I was around, so he could have someone to talk to.

　　I knew how to cook. I used to cook when I was living with my uncle and his family. But my cooking skills couldn't compared to Javon's. I cooked as if it was a job that I had to do, while Javon cooked as if he was making artwork.
