Chapter 75

"Cora, only you can help me." Frida bent over the table and grabbed my arm. She looked at me desperately and pitifully.

"You can find a job." I didn't have a place of my own to stay. I didn't have the ability to help her.

"I tried. The first job I found was a job in a shop. I had to move goods up and down the shelves all the time, and my hands were blistered. Look." Frida waved her palms in front of my eyes. I didn't see clearly. It was a little red, I guessed.

"And the second job was in a restaurant. The boss was lechery and always stared at my ass. I was too frightened and quit immediately." Frida said as she rubbed her eyes.

I knew Frida very well. She didn't like to work. She didn't even like to go to school. All she liked was dressing up herself and hanging out with boys. But Kaylie spoiled her and fulfilled all her requirements. I was like her maid at that time and did all the things for her.

I doubted if she could live by herself.
