Chapter 16

  Tracey's POV

"Do you think these papers are real?" I asked Darren over breakfast.

"If they were real, Lucas would have been in great trouble," Darren took a sip of orange juice and said.

Nathan walked out of his room with a haystack hairstyle and dark circles around his eyes. Then, took a plate of toast and a glass of milk with a deadpan face and walked back into his room without talking to anyone.

  "What happened to Nathan?"

"He sneaked out of school and that's why he's grounded," I said.

Darren chuckled and said, "Mentally, he's already an adolescent. I wouldn't be surprised if he got on a bike and hit on girls soon."

"Well, you used to do that all the time and you turned out to be fine," I said.

  Darren chuckled again.

"So, what are you going to do with those papers?" he asked.

"I'm not going to do anything about it," I said. "I guess I'll have to temporarily keep them in case they send another master thief to Lucas' office."
