Chapter 29: Bittersweet.

  “If you're not jealous then why are you acting like that?” Selina asked me.

  I clenched my jaw as I narrowed my eyes on her. I can’t believe that this woman is accusing me of being jealous when in fact I didn’t have any feelings towards her. Yes, I cared about her because of course, I need her to fulfill my mission but I am not jealous.

  “I’m not! I was just worried because I cared for you. After all, I am your husband!” I defended myself.

  Selina sat up from the bed and then moved towards me. As she leaned over to me and stared into my eyes, I swallowed the lump on my throat. Her eyes were taunting, like she was trying to figure out what I was thinking right now. And when I was about to move away from him, she chuckled.

  “You’re blushing, Harold!” she chuckled.

  “I’m not!”
