Black's POV
I hung up the phone and closed my laptop.
Sometimes, it frustrated me that my employees were human beings. If they were all members of my wolf pack, Mind-Link would be a more convenient way of communication.
I looked up and noticed that the light in the study had dimmed. Turned out it was already dusk.
Suddenly, I realized I hadn't heard Yvette's voice for a long time.
When I turned around, I saw her standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows.
The reflecting afterglow created a natural oil painting.
Yvette stood there in a watercolor silk dress, simple yet elegant. She blended in perfectly with the scenery out the windows, her long hair falling over her shoulder, covering part of her delicate face.
I had seen many beauties, both human and werewolf. But none had given me this feeling.
