NEON's perspective
I grunted at the pain that explodes in my chest, and banged my fist on the wall in the hallway leaving a large dent in it. Aria should reject me! How dare she?!
I couldn’t think of the pain I would feel if I had accepted her rejection. I would be broken, completely.
“Diana!”
She opened the door for me with a bright and innocent smile on her face, like she hadn't done horrible things already.
“What did you say to Aria?” I asked, stepping into her room, Diana moved away from me.
“What do you mean Neon?” Her voice wavered.
“How dare you tell her to reject me?!” I yelled unable to quell my anger.
“Neon, I—“ She sputtered and swallowed nervously, the smile had faded off her face.
“I did it because of you. I told her because it was the right thing to do, she doesn’t belong here, can’t you see that?”
“What have you been telling her?”
