Chapter 46

  Aria's perspective

I took to my heels the moment Neon said I should run. I couldn’t run faster with my shoes so I took them off, and continued running.

I glanced back if Neon was behind me, but he was, and there was a large black wolf with red eyes behind me.

I screamed and ran as if my life depended on it.

I had no idea where I was heading too, I just ran and was too scared to look back. My feet kicked against a tree with a branch on the ground, my eyes didn’t catch it on time, and my feet had already had contact with it before I noticed.

I fell face down on the ground, I groaned and tried to lift myself but it pounced in front of me.

“Ahh!” I shouted, and his sharp teeth ripped some parts of my dress. I tried to run but my leg was stuck on the branch.

My heartbeat skyrocketed in my chest. There was no way I could escape him.
