　　As John arrived at Sally's office, he greeted her with a warm smile. "Hey, Sally! I thought I'd swing by and see if you wanted a ride home," he said.

　　As they walked to John's car, they chatted about their day and upcoming plans. "So, how about dinner on Friday?" John asked, looking at Sally with a hopeful expression.


　　Sally hesitated for a moment, knowing that she already had plans with Melisa and her husband. She didn't want to disappoint John, but an idea occurred to her. "Actually, I have dinner plans with my client Melisa and her husband on Friday," she said. "Would you like to join us?"
