Extra 4: Jiang Xiaodou

"Son, have you turned over a new leaf recently?"

After attending the parent-teacher meeting and buying some groceries, Jiang Yan came home to see the mother and son playing chess in the living room.

Jiang Xiaodou resembles Mu Jiawen a lot—with similar eyes, nose, forehead, and mouth, almost identical to his mother. It's only the slightly curly hair on his head and his long arms and legs that resemble him.

"They're all fools. It's no fun when bullying is so easy," he said.

Even though he was only seven years old and on average two years younger than his classmates, he was tall and robust. Plus, his uncle often took him to the boxing gym to practice.

So, even if one doesn't compare IQ, simply based on brute strength, no one could bully him.

Seeing Jiang Yan return, Mu Jiawen wanted to ask about the parent-teacher meeting. She quickly finished the game and stood up to leave.

Leaving Jiang Xiaodou staring blankly at the chessboard, completely baffled by his mother's moves.
