Outside, Bo Yuting stopped at the doorway.
The room had long been in ruins without a door, dark all around, with almost nothing clearly visible. Only the lingering light from a distance cast enough glow to allow one to barely make out objects without stumbling every step.
When Bo Yuting stepped in, he heard a hurried breath inside that disappeared in an instant, hidden away.
His lips curved slightly, pretending as if he had noticed nothing. He calmly walked into the darkness, relying on vague memories to navigate to the center before he stopped.
"Bo has arrived."
Bo Yuting spoke leisurely, "I wonder if Your Excellency has arrived?"
No sooner had his voice faded than the air behind him suddenly fluctuated.
Before Bo Yuting could react, an icy-cold hard object was pressed against his lower back, bringing a dangerous sense of oppression.
Having anticipated this, he didn't panic, pausing for just a second before slightly turning his head.
