Chapter 13: Compensation For The Retrieved Newby Pack

After that little beauty-saving act, I then headed back to my room with Mei Mei, who seemed a lot more clingy than before.

But I didn't say anything as it wasn't a bad thing; rather, it was a good sign of her becoming obsessed with me.

And inside the room, after placing the soundproofing formation, we did the deed for 3 hours straight, making her unconscious.

Well, I didn't become exhausted as I was at the immortal level in cultivation, and it was nigh impossible to make me exhausted by sexual or fighting activities.

"Haha." I didn't say anything and just laughed it off, and then looked at Mei Mei, sleeping peacefully beside me with a smile on her face.

"Oh Wuya, oh Chen Wuya! How would you feel if you knew that I'm working so hard to provide you with as many green hats as possible?" I said while licking my lips as I grinned from ear to ear.

"Oh yeah, I might be late to ask, but don't most of the people that own a system get a newbie pack? Do I also have an unclaimed newbie pack?" I asked her, as it was too common for a system user to get a newbie/beginner pack.

[Glad you asked. I did have a newbie pack especially reserved for you, but since you didn't ask for it for 2 weeks, the expiry date of the newbie pack passed and it disappeared,] Eve said, making me a little unhappy.

[But since your newbie pack was retrieved by the system creator, I can ask him for a refund or something in exchange for that.]

"Wait, you really have a creator too, huh? Guess spending hours upon hours reading novels back on Earth was worth it," I said with a small sigh.

"And if you have a creator, then it must mean you also have some tasks to complete, no?" I asked the most obvious question to Eve, just to confirm if she'll tell me about it or just say what the usual system says to their host, which is that the host is too weak to know.

[Uh, yeah, but it's not the time for you to know about it. You should just focus on killing your mortal enemy, Chen Wuya, for now. 'Sigh, it seems trusting her too much might backfire, so I gotta keep my guard up even with her since she seems to have a lot of loyalty toward her creator,' I thought with a small sigh.

'I'm really thankful that she can only hear my thoughts when I need to talk with her or she calls for me.' I became thankful for the fact that at least I can make plans without them being known to Eve, as it's too dangerous.

[Then, I'll send a message to the creator.]

"Alright," I said without saying much and then I started to cultivate while waiting for what this "Creator" of the system says.

(1 day later.)

I spent the whole yesterday cultivating while waiting for what the "Creator" of the system says, and as I was about to start my cultivation once again, I heard a ding sound in my head.

[Ding, you got a message from the "AlmightySystemCreator." Do you want to open it now?] A mechanical voice sounded in my head instead of Eve's voice.

"Okay, open it now," I said as a new screen popped up in front of my face, showing letters and sentences.

[Dear Gu Tian, I am the creator of the evil system, a.k.a. AlmightySystemCreator. I'm sorry to hear that you couldn't claim your newbie pack which I prepared for system users, and since you didn't get one, I'll give you a physique, a physique that's worth the newbie pack. Enjoy...

P.S.: Don't stress if your system which you named "Eve" is trustworthy or not. I've made a function which is that the system's consciousness must draw a soul pact with his/her host's soul. If the consciousness of the system ever tries to kill his/her host, the system's consciousness will die and cease to exist.]

I was shocked about how he knew about what I was thinking but I just shrugged it off thinking it might not be impossible for a being of his level to know thoughts of people like me and after Reading the last sentences of the letter, I was kinda relieved, but I didn't fully trust it, as who knows if what he said is really true or not.

"Alright then, give me the physique as the compensation you talked about," I said before sitting in a cross-legged position.

As I waited a few seconds, nothing happened, but just as I was about to assume that I was pranked by the system creator, I felt immense pain coursing through my body as well as the sound of cracking could be heard but could not be seen because I was in intense concentration with my eyes closed.

"Urgh, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh," I shouted from my very being as it was too much to bear for a guy who hasn't experienced much, as it was only a few months ago that I arrived in this world.

"Ahhhh." It's good that I at least placed a silencer formation around my room every day, making it impossible for outsiders to hear my voice or even eavesdrop on what I do or say while inside my room.

I then started to bite my lower lip to stop screaming like a bitch and then continued to endure so much pain.

The pain went on and on for the whole day. I bled a lot today, the result of enduring the pain while biting my lower lip.

As I opened my eyes, I was a bit surprised that I could see so much more clearly, like if I had 4k quality vision before, now it had turned into 10k quality vision and a lot of changes appeared in my body, like my body being in such perfect condition as well as having gotten an 8-pack body that wasn't too muscular nor too lean, making it the perfect figure for any man in the whole world.

"So, what's the name of this physique and the level of this physique?" I asked the system as I breathed in and out to calm down my excited heart.
