Chapter 15: Descent To The Mortal Realm

"You can come in!" I said, imitating a deep and cold voice.

"Young Master, the Patriarch is calling for your attendance," said the Great Elder who got his ass beaten by Gu Meina at the coming-of-age ceremony.

"Alright, you may go for now! I'll come in a minute." I said in a deep, cold voice as he obediently left the room without saying anything.

"Hahaha, my mother really humbled him a lot." I laughed at the antic of the Great Elder.

[Yeah, she really humbled him a lot.] Eve said, making me laugh more.

"Now, since my father has called me, it seems he has already found out that I must be the one to awaken the physique." I stopped laughing after a few minutes.

"Alright, no time dwelling on it, I should just go with the flow." I said as I used the teleportation jade to teleport outside the great hall. After arriving, I walked inside the great hall as everyone looked at me in amazement and reverence.

"Father!" I said as I bowed a little to show respect to the Patriarch aka my father.

"Hm, I heard that you've awakened the legendary Eternal Supreme Primordial Chaos Physique. Is that true?" Gu Haoyu said with a commanding tone, befitting the Patriarch.

"Yes father, I awakened it just yesterday." I said nonchalantly, with a calm expression on my face.

"Eternal Supreme Primordial Chaos Physique? Hahaha, it seems even heaven favors our Gu family. Hahaha!" Gu Haoyu said while laughing heartily. Everyone in the great hall nodded their heads, agreeing with Gu Haoyu's statement with a smile.

"My son, since you've awakened such a legendary physique, many people will eye your physique. But don't worry, they won't do anything as there's something written in the Supreme Primordial Book: whoever kills the holder of the legendary Eternal Supreme Primordial Chaos Physique with the intention to steal it, and all the people of the immortal world, shall face a curse that will make them unable to cultivate." As I was about to leave the great hall, suddenly, the head guard came running into the great hall.

"Patriarch! The Heavenly Immortal Sect's Sect Master has come and is asking to meet the Patriarch," the head guard said as he bowed professionally.

"Hm, the Heavenly Immortal Sect, huh? Alright, send them in." Gu Haoyu said as the head guard once again bowed and then left.

"Thank you, Sect Master Zhu." I said with a little bow to show courtesy to the Sect Master.

"Haha, well, I'm here not just to congratulate you. We also prepared a gift for such moments." Sect Master Zhu said as he snapped his fingers and an elder of the Heavenly Immortal Sect walked to his side with a sword.

"Here, please take this sword to celebrate such a joyous moment." Sect Master Zhu said as he walked towards me and handed the sword.

"Haha, Sect Master Zhu, I really appreciate you giving me such a precious sword." I said with a smile as he stroked his beard.

"And if you ever need something from us, our door will always be open for you." Sect Master Zhu said with a smile as he stroked his beard.

"I'll certainly do so. Once again, thanks." I said with a smile on my face.

"Haha, don't mention it, it's only natural for us to appreciate such talents like you." Sect Master Zhu said, trying to butter me up.

"Then I will take my leave." I said as I bowed a little and then headed outside the great hall, afterwards teleporting back to my room.

"Eve, appraise this sword for me." I said as I showed her the sword.

"Ohh, it seems Sect Master Zhu isn't so stingy after all. It could be a great addition to my collection." I said as I put it into my storage ring.

"Well, since I don't have much to do in the immortal realm and there won't be much going on in the immortal realm until the protagonist, Chen Wuya, arrives, how about I head to the mortal realm now? Most of the heroines are there and the heroines in the immortal realm can wait a bit longer." I said, deciding to head to the mortal realm now.

Then, I rang a bell near my king-sized bed and waited a few seconds before I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in!" I said as a middle-aged man came inside wearing a butler's outfit.

"Young Master, do you need me for anything?" He said as he bowed.

"Uh yeah, I'm heading down to the mortal realm. I want you to notify this to my parents and that I'm going alone. It would be great if they could notify the Gu family of the mortal realm of my arrival." I said, much to the surprised expression of the butler. But since he can't disobey my order, he nodded and bowed his head.

"Yes, Young Master, I'll do it right away." He said, bowing before leaving my room to notify my parents about my descent to the mortal realm.

"Alright then, I should head to the mortal realm now..."

(20 seconds later...)

"..."

"Uh, Eve! How does one descend to the mortal realm again?" I said, confused as in the novels I've read, most only ascend and the ones I've written... they also only ascend.

[Sigh, since you're in the immortal realm, you just have to crack open a void. "Alright, then let's do that." I said before taking out the Destroyer sword given to me by the Sect Master.

After that, I concentrated my Qi into the sword before slashing it into the air, tearing apart the space.

"It's much easier than I thought." I said as I entered the void.
