The battle 2

Stacy was beyond shocked after seeing a girl like Tracy defeat the most feared chimera.

" Liquides dropientes." Stacy casted another spell and drops of water fell on Tracy's face causing her to squeeze her eyelids before finally opening her eyes. Her eyes had returned back to normal.

"Stacy... What happened? "Tracy asked in a low tone as she sat up. "You don't know what happened? "Stacy asked confused.Tracy shook her head in response.

"Well you my dear just defeated the Chimera... All by yourself." Stacy answered saying the last part as if she herself couldn't believe it.

"I did? "Tracy asked again confused. "Hmmm." Stacy affirmed with a nod.

"You don't remember? "Stacy asked.

"No I don't. How? "Stacy narrated all that had happened and Tracy was stunned. She had powers!

"Wow!" Tracy exclaimed in this belief. "How about you give it a try? "Stacy suggested." Okay. "Tracy agreed, but she couldn't do anything. Nothing happened.

" How about making a light ball even if it's small. "Stacy suggested. Tracy did , but nothing happened to her disappointment.

"I guess your powers come and go but don't worry. That's why we are here right? "Stacy encouraged with a smile. At another part of the forest a small ball of light could be seen growing bigger and bigger and bigger!

"Tracy be careful, this part of the forest makes use of illusions and uses nightmares, our hurtful past against us." Stacy reminded as they ventured deeper into the forest. They came across other creatures but they didn't attack them instead they ignored them. It felt like they were Scared to come near them like they were afraid to. Afraid of something, no! Someone.

"That strange. Aren't this creatures supposed to attack us? "Tracy asked.

"Yeah but I guess they are afraid of something but it's a good thing they aren't attacking us isn't it?" Stacy asked and Tracy nodded in agreement. Even though the creatures were not attack them or ignoring them they were careful not to draw their attention.

"I'm a witch so I have a great amount of focus and control over my mind so I repeat try your best not to fall for the illusions. "Stacy warned again and Tracy took the breathes to calm herself.

"I won't. "Tracy responded heaving a deep sigh.

BACK AT THE WILMER ACADEMY...

"Hey have you seen Shadley? "Daisy asked Diane. She had searched the entire school and was yet to find Shadley come and she was getting worried.

"He went after Tracy. "Dianne said in her usual calm and collective tone, her face expressionless.

"What? "Daisy exclaimed on hearing Diane. "And you just let him? "Daisy snap raising her voice at Diane.

"You are not the boss of me... Noelle."

"Don't you dare call me that here." Daisy word in a hush tone ,looking around to make sure no one was listening. "Then don't you dare raise your voice at me... Ever. "Diane warned looking serious. Daisy glared angrily at Dianne before storming out. Diane took several deep breathes to calm herself before walking away.

IN AN UNKNOWN LOCATION...

- The throne room is dimly lit, with only a few flickering candles providing light. The walls are made of dark stone, and the floor is covered in a thick layer of dust.A large, ornate throne sits in the center of the room, and a figure is seated upon it.The figure is tall and thin, with long, sharp claws and glowing red eyes. It is dressed in a black robe, and its face is hidden by a hood. The air is thick with the smell of sulfur, and the sound of dripping water can be heard in the distance.

"Send for Medusa. "Commanded to figure on the throne yet no one could be seen in the dark room but in a few seconds a beautiful woman with serpent hair slowly and majestically worked towards him.

"Your Majesty. "The serpent head woman said and curts it. "You sent for me. "She added with a coy smile.

" Go... Get her. "The deep and deadly voice a cold in the train room.

"Yes you majesty. "Medusa answered with an evil smirk and in a circle she was out of sight. The creature healed a deep side as instead into the darkness.

As the two girls ventured further into the ominous forest, a sense of unease settled over them like a heavy shroud. The twisted, gnarled trees loomed overhead, their branches reaching out like skeletal fingers grasping for unwary travelers. Shadows danced grotesquely on the forest floor, creating a haunting mosaic of darkness and light.

The air grew thick with an otherworldly chill, sending shivers down the girls' spines despite the warmth of the midday sun. Strange sounds echoed through the trees, whispers and murmurs that seemed to come from all directions at once, playing tricks on their minds and stirring a primal fear deep within their souls.

As they pressed on, the forest seemed to shift and change around them, twisting reality into a dizzying maze of deception. Illusions flickered at the corners of their vision, taunting them with glimpses of things that could not possibly be real: a shimmering lake that turned out to be a pool of quicksand, a glimmering path that led only to dead ends, and phantom figures that vanished as soon as they were approached.

The girls' footsteps faltered as doubt crept into their minds, each uncertain glance exchanged between them a silent plea for reassurance. But the forest played with their senses like a malevolent puppeteer, distorting their perceptions and sowing seeds of discord in their hearts.

Suddenly,Tracy sees a figure in the distance. She calls out to her friend, but Stacy doesn't see anything. The figure gets closer and closer, and the girl starts to panic. She turns to run, but she trips and falls, opening her hide she found herself back on the road the same day her mom had died. This time her mom was bleeding profusely.

"Mom! Wake up. "Tracy yelled. "Please. "She pleaded as she cried. Reliving the death of her mother was so painful and tragic. All of a sudden her mom's face became darker and darker and she opened her eyes to reveal those once blue eyes turned red and her teeth gagged.

" Die!' among yelled and grabbed her neck. But Tracy quickly shoved her off." Ahhhhhh." Tracy yield. Her mom at turned into a ghoul siren of some sort looking all evil and ugly.

Tracy began running as fast as her legs could carry her with her mom chasing after her and repeatedly yelling: "Die! "Tracy was panting heavily and almost out of breathe. Just when her mom had almost gotten to her and arrow shot right through her chest, leaving black blood splattered all over Tracy's body. Tracy shifted her gaze from her ghoul mom to the creature that had saved her. It wore a dark Cloak, its eyes glowing red. He remained firm, standing in the darkness silently making Tracy strain her eyes to see it full. But before she go open her mouth to ask who it was, it vanished like it was never there.

Meanwhile Stacy was struggling so hard not to give into the effects of this part of the forbidden Forest. Her magic was wearing off and so was her focus." Give in little girl, give into us. "Evil voices were all over her head.

"No! "Stacy yield. "Never. I will never give in . "Stacy repudiated firmly.

"Give in little girl... Give in little girl... Give in Stacy... Give in..." The voices in her head kept repeating. They became unbearable and Tracy let out a loud scream." Aaaaaaaaah!" Then she fell unconscious.

Opening her she found herself in an old home. Back in her old room. Stacy looked around observing her old room.As she stepped into the familiar room she once called her own, a rush of nostalgia flooded over her.

" How is this possible ?" She wondered. The walls adorned with posters from her teenage years, the soft glow of the familiar lampshade casting a warm light over her childhood belongings—it felt like coming back to a place she had longed for. She began hearing laughter and shut up from outside the room.

She's slowly and carefully walked to the door and opening it she instantly went bug-eyed at what she saw; Her family!"Oh Stacy you're awake." Her mother said with a warm smile while setting the table for breakfast. Her five years old sister came jumping to her .

" Sister!" The little girl exclaimed in Joy and Stacy found herself smiling .

"How is this possible? "She muttered. "Honey come let's have breakfast. Father invited her for a meal of Honey bread and jam. Stacy chuckled tears forming in her eyes."Father !" Stacy yelled as she ran to embrace her father. "I really missed you so much father. I thought you all had gone. I thought you all had left me. "She sobbed hugging her father.

"No we would never leave you. "Her father said in a warm and calmed voice. Her family gathered around her, their faces filled with joy and relief. Her mother's gentle smile, her father's reassuring presence, and her sibling's excited chatter—all seemed so real, so comforting."We are always with you. " He said in a warm tone.

The room seemed frozen in time, a sanctuary untouched by the passage of years. The scent of her favorite childhood perfume lingered in the air, and the whispers of the past echoed in every corner. Tears welled up in her eyes as she embraced her family, feeling a profound sense of belonging and safety.

But as she basked in the warmth of the moment, a subtle unease crept into her heart. Shadows flickered across the walls, and the air grew heavy with a sense of foreboding. The once familiar room began to warp and distort around her, the walls closing in like a trap."We are always with you. "This time his voice at turned even and robotic.

Reality shattered like glass, revealing the twisted truth behind the illusion. The comforting presence of her family began to fade, their faces melting like wax to reveal grotesque masks of horror and despair. The room darkened, the once inviting light now casting sinister shadows that danced menacingly around her.

She stumbled back in terror, realizing too late the sinister nature of the Forbidden Forest's magic. What she had longed for was nothing but a cruel mirage, a twisted fantasy woven by dark forces to ensnare the unwary. The room around her contorted and twisted, becoming a nightmarish labyrinth filled with the echoes of forgotten fears.

Desperation clawed at her heart as she frantically sought an escape from the illusions that threatened to consume her. With every step she took, the room shifted and changed, becoming a maze of deception and treachery.
