CHAPTER ELEVEN: HOW COULD YOU?

 CECILIA POV

"Stop calling her by that name, everyone here knows her and she was once his favorite, I spoke with my mate about it and he was convinced that they would get married,"

"That's why everyone keeps running here to see you. They are all curious to see why he choose you instead of Doreen!," 

I explained to her, trying my possible best not to sound harsh or mean. Tessa had refused to get out of bed since yesterday.

The Lycan king asked me to talk to her this morning when he saw me with my mate and I wasn't even aware of what happened until she told me a few minute ago.

Tessa eyed me from underneath her beautiful lashes and kept sniffing back her tears, she's definitely angry that then Lycan king made her watch him take Doreen over and over again.

"What did you do and say to him, let's reflect on that and stay away from doing it again, so we can avoid what happened yesterday,"

"You can't hide the fact that you hate it when he touches other women, he knows this as your weakness already and he's using it. We have to find a solution,"

This is the truth and I only can speak with Tessa, our mother cannot talk to her because Tessa wouldn't listen, not even at this time. She's so pissed and boiling with revenge.

"Is that all you have to say Cecilia? Didn't he send you here? I can see you are radiating with so much happiness and joy, you are even smiling!"

"After putting me in this situation, I love a man and I can't even accept the feeling, he's a crazy and pathetic man and ," she busted out in rage and I had to remind her about her speech.

She will regret it later and I don't want that, she eyed me when I placed my hand in her mouth.

"Pathetic? Really! Is that what you want to call the man that your heart beat for? Is that how you want to express yourself now? You have been crying all through the night for a pathetic man?" I asked her.

"Cecilia don't you understand what's going on or you want to pretend that you don't know that he's trying so much to keep me quiet, to keep me here and stop me from moving on with my life!," she cried out.

Her eyes darting all over the place, probably looking for a place to get her gaze aside from my face. I touched her lap softly and she relaxed a little under my touch.

"He has Doreen or whatever you call her for eight hours and he kept me there, I couldn't look away, whenever I did, he would add another extra hour. I cried and pleaded, it was torture."

"I watched the man I love cry out in pleasure for another woman, his eyes fixed on me, his lips kicking me, now you say he loves me and want to teach me a lesson,"

"You come here to talk about trying not to piss him off? Cecilia I will make him furious to the extent of he wanting to throw me into the prison, just like Trevour did, I will kill myself," she complained and kept threatening.

I can't show Tessa now that I have her back and understand her pain, she would use my weakness to make me agree with whatever evil plan she has in her head, the same plan that will get her into trouble.

"You still haven't gotten what is happening? Do you think this is about Alpha Trevour. Even your mate candy save you from what is happening and that because you have deep feelings for the Lycan king,"

"He's a very possessive and commanding man!, he showed you a little too of how crazy he can be and your spirit is broken!, shouldn't you get up and think about how to make him apologize and dance to your tune,"

"This man would never let you go!, I don't know if you've heard but the connection between the two of you is more deeper and rooted into many years of generation, my mate told me this too,"

Tessa straightened her back from the makeup chair she had been resting on since my arrival, the new information getting to her just like I wanted.

"He said something about me being his cure, his mother too said it and I didn't believe, i tried testing it with him yesterday and it landed me into this huge trouble," 

"You all landed me into this trouble, you and mother! Why did you have to sign that document? I was planning on returning back home, to you, I might have succeeded," I was taken aback also when Tessa started blaming us again.

"Look here woman and stop going back to the last, have you looked around this place, the huge gates and the numerous soldiers tripping around, look out from that window and see for yourself, just around your house alone, they are over seventy of them!,"

I made sure to add a very funny laughter and cough, just to add effect to what I was about to say, that's because I need to make Tessa understand what would happen if the Lycan king catches her escaping.

"What have I been screaming here for since? Why is your stubbornness more than your senses? Are you intentionally trying to endanger our lives!"

"You love this man and you've been into him since the very first day you both set eyes on each other but for another reason you want to return back to our pack to Alpha Trevour! To do what?,"

This time I couldn't hold my anger, Tessa jumped out of the chair, all forms of tears and weakness gone, she knew I had found out about her plan, the main reason why she's so pissed about us coming here.

"This is not what I planned for Cecilia. I can never return back to my mate but I must teach him a lesson and let him see how much I can be happy without him,"

She said exactly what I wanted to hear and I immediately jumped in to use what she just said to my advantage.

"Listen to yourself and your heart Tessa, you are so scared of what is waiting for you in Then Lycan king arms that you cannot see what Alpha Trevour has in plan as well."

"Your mate rejected you and imprisoned you for a whole year!, what's there to show him again, you are here and he knows, he's been looking all over the place, before he found out,"

"He's so enraged that he's no longer the loving man to Sylvia and we all know this, I don't know if he wants you back but he keeps coming to our little house to see mother, threatening to hurt us if we don't bring you back,"

"We had to take the Lycan king's offer, his protection and love for you. He told mother that he love you and I'm sure he told you too,"

"What more do you want? A man that would kill for you or a man that would kill you!," I couldn't stop talking once I started, my heart was beating fast and Tessa was staring at me.

"Alpha Trevor has been looking for me and threatening you! And the Lycan king knows about this? Are you sure?," she finally asked me after staring for a few minute.

I shook my head in agreement, allowing myself to calm down a little, the look on Tessa's face shows that she understood me perfectly.

"It's either you take this marriage as a sage heaven and work on it to be exactly that, at least with the Lycan king you know what's happening in his heart, he told you everything and you can as well see it,"

"But with your mate? That greedy and selfish man!, how can he choose Sylvia over you and lick you up for a year, he didn't allow us to see you or come near you, what is his plan!"

"Then Lycan king can be scary but he would never raise his hands on you, he will never hurt you or do anything to just break you. Aside from the stubbornness between you both. And you know what that means," I winked at her and she smiled.

For once, since I was allowed into her apartment to see her, she smiled. Finally rushing into my arms, I have a lot more to say to her but I wasn't sure about her mood, there's no one else to share my mood and feelings with aside from Tessa.

"Are you ready to hear about my mate now? I have so much to tell you, everyone knows him and we met on the night of our arrival," I told her while we clung to each other

"I know him too, he's the Lycan king beta, I saw you both follow each other that night, I was very jealous that you left me to be with him that night, tell me everything,"

My heart soared immediately Tessa responded, I can finally tell her about everything that's been happening between me and my mate. I won't hold anything back, I pulled her toward her bedroom porch, stopping at the bar to take a wine and two glass cups.

"I have a lot to talk about, so we need cold and sweet refreshment," I told her, when she laughed softly and grabbed another wine, I couldn't be happier. Finally my sister is back to her old self, the Lycan king should be scared now.
