CHAPTER THIRTY: FOREVER HOME

 SYLVIA POV

"So what?, you called to make fun of her right?, but look at the humiliation she put you in, she's not interested in whatever you have to say and she spat that right in your face,"

My mother voice jolted me out of my thought, forcing my phone to slip out of my hand.

"Not now mother, please not now. If staying in your house is bringing you so much shame, then I will leave, I didn't come here to be made fun of!"

She's been on my case since I returned home, my father would have pampered and soothed me but the old man is on the hospital and had been placed on compulsory bed rest.

"You wouldn't have stayed in such environment as well, I could read the whole room and he doesn't want me there anymore, what would you have me do? Hold into him and beg?"

Since she had her opinions, maybe it's time I give her some access to speak, my mother can sound harsh but she always wants the best interest for me, after all I'm their only child.
